I like them both. (prefer samurai though) but i think that the theme is repeated hen Saban (spelling?) bought them back. if i'm mistaken my apologies but that's what i think. I think it's a tribute to the original series but that's just me. going back to the roots as it were.

I like the Samurai theme. Feels much more exciting. In the original theme, aside from the legendary arpeggio after the intro, it's not that interesting. It's just simple power chords and melodies. The Samurai version is much more dynamic with the rhythm guitar playing a gallop instead of a simple power chord. And the fact that the whole song is in drop D tuning just adds to the intensity. That's just my opinion though.

I think both songs are awesome. I grew up watching Mighty Morphin so naturally I prefer that over Samurai's. However, I think Samurai has an awesome rhythm part that plays right after he says "Go Go Power Rangers".
