You say your voice wasn't in tiptop shape - yet you sound incredible. I absolutely LOVE this cover. Your voice has an almost gravelly sound at times, and maybe it's cause Amy Winehouse sang it first, but it just gives the song even more depth.

I loved the way the screen goes black at 2:43 about the same time as the music begins to fade gently and you sing the word "black". The last "black" you sang is off the hook. I'd NEVER heard this song before although I know who Amy Winehouse is. But the lyrics resonated so powerfully--I just broke up with my girl--and the way that you sang it was even more powerful. So I wanted to hear Amy's version since it WAS her song--key word "was". They say the first cut is the deepest and man you cut me deep. With all due respect to Amy, your version is so much better. If you google Free Youtube to mp3 converter, download and install, very easy to use, lets u download videos from youtube and puts them into .mp3 format, thats what i've used to get all of this talented guy songs :)
