  • This song is gorgeous

  • ooppppsss sorry, just broke the replay button (Y)

  • amazing <3

  • Both hurt and seether are great bands

  • J. Loren 3

  • shaun is great :)

  • Featuring J. Loren!!! :) Yay for Hurt

  • fuckin nice

  • Hey zachwell87 you fucking dipshit read the info box next time it says that it is the seether Singer just in a hurt song even says the album doushe fuck

  • hay every one may be why this band is never hurd of is becuse every one hear is a jack ass.... some one had to fuckin say it my god.

  • Ok, "SeetherRairities"... WTF!? This is in no way shape or form a Seether song. This is Hurt and Hurt alone, from Goodbye to the Machine... You're a dipshit.

  • @zachwell87 shaun starts at 1:01

  • @zachwell87 You're a fucking moron for not reading the info. Go kill yourself, Before your ignorance rubs off on innocent people.

  • @zachwell87 read the description!!!!!!!!! dipshit

  • I saw HURT open for SEETHER a couple years ago. BADASS SHOW ON THE RAIL!

  • I was listening to some hurt songs so I radomly cklicked into this one....And just fell in love with it. It was the right song at the right moment.

So could you show me the meaning of love?

'Cause it doesn't affect me much,What you do unto us

I never expected All my hopes and dreams

To fall apart at the seams.

It's sooooo meeee. And so trueee!

  • @LydiaVtl When I first heard this verse I felt it was for me as well....good stuff

  • This song and both bands are amazing. I'd love to see Hurt live.

  • I dont know why but this song gets to me

  • anyone know the tabs?

  • HURT FTW...Seether is still good too tho^^:)

  • both Shaun and J are fantastic songwriters, but they are very very different. Both of them write about emotion but Shaun writes more about emotional conflicts and the feelings you cant really explain or vocalize. J writes more about wordly motions and sad state of affairs. HIs lyrics are more straight forward. People in their 30's generally appreciate J more because you have to be older to relate. Seether appeals to everyone as Shauns words are about emotions and feelings everyone has. IMO

  • Guitar really gets me here

  • OMG Aaron Lewis is WAAAAYYYY better than J. Loren.

  • @noxxus39 perhaps in his prime but that is no longer true. Also J is a better lyricists..although I prefer Aarons voice and shauns over his.. they can't match his lyrics in my opinion...nor do I feel the perform as well live..and thats saying a lot. I just posted on a few seether vids how great they are live....plus I feel hurts songs come off exceptionally intelligent.. don't get me wrong i love all 3 of these bands..seen all 3 of them live each atleast 2 times.. but thats just my opinion

  • Hurt featuring Maynard would be awsome

  • good song Shaun got a sick voice man he can write some great songs

  • @who610055 yeah i like both bands i got to see seether and crossfade a couple of years ago 1 of the best concerts ive ben to, but hurt wrote this song not seether

  • i couldnt agree with telexkrash more. i just told my friend the same thing!! but dont forget about kevin matyson and pete loefler..GREAT singers also.

  • 3, yes THREE fucking idiots!

  • Beautiful.

  • I hear both Loren and Morgan singing for pretty much equal parts of the song. I think they balanced it out very well.

  • dumb ass, thats shaun morgan from seether singin the whole song pretty much... all j. loren sings is back up in this song, but yea they both are amazing artist

  • This is Hurt featuring Shaun Morgan. Not Seether.

  • seether is the best band alive... they have the best musician actually in the world

  • damn i love seether

  • is this the album version i cant hear much difference

  • Oh my fucking god, this is something so PERFECT! I am crying, seriously :|

  • One of the best collaborations I have ever heard. Shaun brings a depth to the song that J Loren perfectly harmonizes with. And the acoustic work is phenominal. These are two of the best acoustic artists of our time!!

  • oh my god 3.33 without any sorrows

  • just. wow.

  • This song is amazing

  • this is awsome is it on i tunes ?

  • AMAZING

  • GREAT!

  • Such a Beautiful song featuring two of my favourite Singers! :) Love it!

  • WOW...how can some of you guys not tell it's two different people. Do you know anything about music??

  • shaun doesnt sing the back up!!! hes in the second verse

  • For those of you debating.... This song belongs to J. Loren of HURT. He is singing it. Shaun Morgan seems to be singing back up a few times. But it is all J. Loren. This song is on HURT's recent album "Goodbye to the Machine". Don't get me wrong SEETHER is good too (but not as good as HURT). Actually, I first hear HURT when they opened for Seether in 2008. I immediately loved HURT's music.

  • @Scout12295 shauns on the second verse, :)

Can't you hear the change in voice texture?

  • @Scout12295 Shaun begins to sing on the Second verse and is the louder rougher voice on the chorus :)

  • i dont think its a different singer.... sorry i just dont, i cant find the difference, some one help me sleep at night... AM I RIGHT OR WRONG?

  • @xxxxxxxxxx713 it is a diff singer j sings the first part then shaun the second part. j is smooth shaun is a little rough

  • Gz. ..

  • this song makes me cry

  • The song is about 1 man reflecting on his own life, if you take the last phrase of the song and apply it to the rest of the song. "Hasn't happened yet" it's about a man who loses the love of his life, and the down fall he takes after losing a girl he loves, and when she is up in heaven she doesn't want him to continue to love him, but he can't stop. The man he talks about in the song is himself, he uses phrases like "us" to explain it's himself.

  • awesome.. i dont know why but i want to hear corey taylor singing it. :)

  • yeah he could pull it off :)

  • @theburningnoob Aaron Lewis would be a good one too!

  • HURT <3

  • two of my favourite bands together (somewhat)

  • i dont know who seether are but hurt are the best band ever! shame they are not well known

  • Seether made the song "Broken" with Amy Lee. I love both bands...great song.

  • taking a shot in the dark here, but is this song somewhat about religion? not that it makes a difference, but "a good man paralyzed, he payed for all we'd do" seems to be a reference to being crucified.

  • @travism619 It sounds to me like a soldier, too. Someone giving their life for others?

    Both are pretty similar, though.

  • @TheJokinly both of you are close but its a remorse song and how we trade what we love for what we want

  • @AJlord1 I can agree with that.

  • Essa música é muuito foda !

    Just awesome !

    No more word's

  • this song makes me cry. i love it. it's beautiful.

  • They sure have similar voices...

Anyway I love HURT the most <3

  • Anyway I love SEETHER the most <3

  • Comment removed

  • shawn starts singing in the second verse... for all u fucktards who thinks shaun isnt in this!!!!

  • Saw these guys in concert with Breaking Benjamin TDG they were awesome

  • buh. you suck. i'm jealous. that concert woulda been truly awesome.

  • Yeah, but they only played 4 songs. But they did sing this song with Seether so I guess that counts as 5

  • that is still a pretty danm cool concert.

  • shawn morgan is amazing and hurt is too

    this was just perfect

  • :D good shit, stay cute

  • no way! i thought this was beyonce

  • WTF bigerndawg22?!

  • what? do you know me or was my sarcasm over your head? :D

  • Haha, no it just made me laugh and shake my head. lol

  • lol

  • ya this is the band Hurt ft. shaun morgan this is not on seethers album its on Hurt's

  • honestly who gives a flying fuck who sings this? Its a good song. Period. If you dont like it find some other song

  • Yeah this is Shaun Morgan he sings the verse that starts at 1:00 and the chorus you better take another listen or do a little research

  • Do you fools know that this isnt shaun morgan singing. If you would actually listen to this album, because its great, and actually knew how shaun morgan sounded, you might have recognized. He does sound similar but its very discernible from shaun.

  • Dude, the reason it sounds like him, is because it is him.

  • i never had listened to or heard of seether until my best friend told me to...now i no wat i had been missing...i love this band...my fav band of all times...good song.

  • you know ... this is only the vocalist from seether with hurt ( another band ) . seether is kinda different from this . And I honestly prefer , but that's my opinion =)

( don't get me wrong , I looooove this song , but seether is , and will always be , seether ! )

  • i think this should have been a little bit heavier but it's a good song the way it is

  • wow... i expexted this to a more heavy rock song. but it turned out.. awesome. this song should definately be more popular than this.

  • I've never heard Shaun sing fast like that

    this is a good song!

    Seether is the greatest

and Hurt is a very talented band

  • 3cn1ght, where does shaun sing fast? lol

  • xYeahProductionsx,

if u ever listen to Seether. Shaun draws out his words, and compared to this, hes singing fast. Here, when he says "a brand new red corvette" hes saying it almost like like hes talking, in Seether he would draw it out. lol he wouldn't say it in 2 seconds, it would take him 4 seconds.

  • yea igree:D..lol....where he sing fast?..this is the slowest song on earth...

  • awesome!!

  • wow shaun sounds really amazing

  • anyone that puts shaun morgan and chris cornell in the same catagory needs to get a life that doesnt involve music at all. chris cornell is an over rated whinny screamer that has little to no talent. the only good music put out by the douche box chris cornell was temple of the dog. otherwise shaun morgan hasnt sang a bad song to date. you cant ask for a better story teller than shaun morgan. you cant descibe music without a seether song. no comparrison

  • HELL YEAH.

  • I dissagree. both shaun and cornell are amazing guitarsts and singers. and soundgarden and audioslave r great bands. i love them both. :)

  • Chris Cornell is a sell out. I have yet to see Shaun sell out.

  • Seether is good, but Hurt is incredible, and J. Loren is the best fucking singer in rock music right now. It would be a toss up between Chris Cornell and J. Loren if I had to pick the best.

  • I read this comment of yours before listening to the song. And to be honest, I have never been this surprised of a voice for a very long time.

  • @Telexkrash Its a tough choice but dont you dare forget Eddie Vedder!

  • so amazing i think this song could really get me into hurt

  • Hurt can do something as Hardcore as "Ten ton bricks" yet something as beauitful as Aftermath, Hurt Seether and Shinedown are the best bands or our Genortion in my opinon.

  • well seethers my favirote band ever

  • They are mind as well, I can't put the three in a top order. But Seether, is deff up there.

  • well then you should check out my channel i have seethers two newest songs up there careless whisper and no shelter

  • damn right

  • OH YES! There's still a version of this song on youtube! I thought they'd all been taken down! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

  • oh my god

my two favorite bands on the face of the earth in one song

life just grew some meaning :)

  • NICE ...

  • fantastic song AAAA+++++++++
