Well, honestly, I think she really jumped the shark with BD. She kinda drifted away from the love story part of it.

Please don't take offense to this. I loved the book to pieces, but it wasn't really exactly what I thought.

Yeah BD there wasn't as much love story in it tbh but at the same time there kinda was.

I am incredibly sorry if i may sound harsh:

But please stop comparing Harry Potter and Twilight.

They are two separate series that are written in two different ways.

Rowling and Meyers are two wonderful authors, but their technique and style cannot be more different. Rowling plans everything down to the t, while Meyers goes with the flow.

In conclusion, they are wonderful books but should not be compared because they are two DIFFERENT STORIES!

I don't know, but i seem oblivious to why anyone would compare or even contrast them in the first place?

Other than minor similarities (ie: protagonist being teens, Lupin and Jake are wolves (well that doesn't even count) they don't have anything in common.

Seriously they are just two amazing series end of story, stop putting them in the same sentence.

Even Meyers said" she was flattered to be compared to Rowling but she doesn't think it's gonna happen again.

and you really cant compare the two authors beacuse number one two comepletely different minds and stories.

I know i realized that..but i wrote that before i read breaking dawn, i had to wait an extra week before mine came..

And lmfao not even other vampire series really because those are loosely based off of Dracula-Bram Stokers description, Stephenie said she had never read or seen a thing about vampires when she created twilight...however i guess you can say for some stories the redemption of their soul might the closest you can get to it.

once, i read the fisrt chapter in the harry potter series, and i didnt like it that much. but when i read twilight, i was hooked on to it. not to dissapoint any harry potter fans, but the twilight series is much much better

i honestly dunno why they're comparing twilight to harry potter. teens obviusly love twilight for the romance of it. but harry potter has a wider range from fantasy to adventure snd a little bit of romance and thriller. and no doubt has harry potter got me laughing at some parts.

i'm also a twilight fan. edward is undeniably hot and i so so csn't wait to watch the movie. i don't have high expectations for the movie though. on the other hand, it would be a huge blow if they screw the hbp movie

so true, i like harry potter much better because when i started the series i wasn't aware of the craze and didn't expect anything-but when people kept telling me to read twilight, my expectations became high and i set myself up for unsatisfaction, or rather incomplete satisifaction. (to die-hard fans-i don't hate twilight...please don't bite me)
