I followed news about Schiff senate campaign from Lithuania but I had no time to research the profiles of other candidates...

And a couple of weeks ago I came upon an article about Linda McMahon. How in the world could anyone with a healthy mind vote for her? She's fake as American wrestling, American economy and American smile.

It makes me upset because I tried to do my part to get Peter Schiff elected. Over 3 million people live in Connecticut and most of them didn't even care enough to vote for some kind of positive change in Congress. They just don't give a damn about their future. If I lived in Connecticut, Peter Schiff would have my vote. I wish there was a candidate like him in California. I'm sick of Meg Whitman & Jerry Brown. I'm sick of Sen. Boxer & Sen. Feinstein. That's MY future. It sucks out here!

I can't help but feel drained and devastated. Here we are in a crushing economic crisis, unprecedented, and the Connecticut Republican voters just don't GET it. They chose someone who has (other than private wealth) no economic skills at all. Why? Why??

Maybe you should move to Kentucky. At least they show signs of "getting it."

Frankly, given that McMahon spent more money than virtually any other primary candidate in US history, and that the mainstream media maintained an absolute boycott of Peter (treasonous IMO), for Peter to get almost half the votes that McMahon got is nothing short of a miracle. This is hardly a defeat in that regard. I made over 100 calls a day for a month on the phone banking, and now that we have lost, I do not regret a moment of the effort. I will be there if you run again, long shot or no.

It's not surprising, to think that you can compete with an insider like Linda McMahon is silly.

She knows all the people, she has virtually unlimited funds, it just goes to show you how disconnected the congress is from the people. We need a lottery type of system to keep these corrupt bums out. Sure that means billy bob from the tailer park will be in congress at some point, but I'd rather have that than what's going on now.
