TY, I am proud of Jade- she has worked so hard to get where she is, and is very well behaved- even compared to the NT kids! She also loves school, and applies her "perfectionism" to her schoolwork!
yeah, we're sure it's autism. I agree that Jade will be an engineer of some sort, or a translator. She has been using youtube to teach herself how to talk in different languages. Her favorite is Arabic, LoL
My son at age 10 still loves to admire himself in glass. Have you had her watch video of herself? My son loves it and it makes his brain retain tasks. When he does the task he will say," Im doing it just like the video". Your girl is so cute!!!
this is awsome progress. I stumbled onto ur video of Jade not looking at you while stacking blocks. I am a college student who is currently doing research for an inventor of a new block stacking game and i am trying to gain info on the relationship between block stacking and child develeopment.. Would you know of any block stacking games that require more than 1 player and are similar to jenga and can be played by kids similar to yours?
You've had lots of early intervention for her, haven't you?!! She interacts quite well for 4 1/2. My son is 18 and just graduated. She my post under autistic student receives standing ovation. I'm going to post more video of him so parents get a better understanding of what some older children with autism look like. My son unfortunately did not receive any autism specific training. In those days there was none.
Wow! She is good!
