Anyone know of any good books on figure sculpture technique, by which I do not mean strictly artistic anatomy books. It will be very much appreciated thanks ;-)
@blakepeary Dunno if it's the same for 3.1 but in 4 you go to the Transform menu and choose "Ativate Symmetry"... Or you just press X, for shortcut...
@Th4Pwnz0r It's frickin' Zbrush man. That's just what it DOES. MILLIONS of polys an a single object, and we ain't even using 64 bits yet. (though they have promised us we get 64 bits on the next release)
Why wasn't Zbrush around when i started learning 3d modeling. If it was, i would of focused more on my drawing then on the technicalities of 3d modeling.
Amazing just like going back to my sketch book but now in 3d.
@FireyDragon56 Ever notice how the exclamation 'fucking' just loses it's impact when you have to write it? It just ends up making the writer look like a moron.
Amazing. now all you have to do is make a body load it up in photoshop. and put it in a 3D animation. XD Amazing work. By the way is the program free?
Blender has a similar tool (maybe not as advanced i don't know) and that program is free. But don't think it's just installing a program and clicking a few buttons. You have to know how it works, know about 3D principles and actually know how to sculpt a head to get such results. Regardless of which program you use.

@Th4Pwnz0r
Zbrush and other applications dedicated for digital sculpting don't have any problems with that type of model even on average machine.
@Vonargandur
For Films, video games, to use object later in 3D scene/ 2D image composition...

This, in conjunction with other tutorials about add and subtract and scupltiong, says alot about how detailed you can be with alittle time.

Your proceser is beast to be able to have that many faces on that shape without it somehow exploding. :O
