I wish I had brought this issue up before I got into my last relationship. I took my first and last beating. No matter how much I want to get back together with him (I'm gay) our views on beat downs are clearly different. Personally I'm not the type to hit someone just because of what they say. So they do have movies about violent women.

What I learned is if your in a relationship with someone and that person makes you feel anger and frsutration every time you think about them its time to get out.
In the UK recently, a gang of 10 girls chased and cruelly attacked another girl. They beat her to a pulp, put cigarettes out on her face and effectively tortured her for 90 minutes.
Now I defy anyone, man or women to witness a situation like that and not want to intervene, even if there was anxiety at what the gang would do to them. I would like to think I would have the courage to defend the victim in that situation.

Also more than one movie about a woman attacking a woman and her husband. Movie called Black Widow (i think it was) about a woman who killed her husbands and an uncle. The average is closer to 1.3-1.6x stronger... (across the population of the United States).
What causes the confusion is the predisposition of strength. In other words, men are predisposed to having a greater amount of upper body strength compared to a woman doing the same work.
And even then, strength isn't the only indicator of ability to cause harm...
in the 21st century we have various weapons/tools designed to equalize conflict.
Guns, knives, tasers, electric wiring etc...

Pity the poor women abused by their muslim husbands, especially in predominantly muslim countries. They have no one to turn to for help. This is happening even in France. As she is talking in a North American context, or even widening it to a Western World context, numbers from studies have been showing since the late 80s to early 90s that women are committing a similar if not greater level of escalated violence (in other words, using equalizers and often with finality).
So in the context of that discussion your point, worth investigating and attention, is nothing more than a red herring design to take away from the fact women aren't innocents.

In the UK recently, a gang of 10 girls chased and cruelly attacked another girl. They beat her to a pulp, put cigarettes out on her face and effectively tortured her for 90 minutes.
Now I defy anyone, man or women to witness a situation like that and not want to intervene, even if there was anxiety at what the gang would do to them. I would like to think I would have the courage to defend the victim in that situation.

I was lucky that there was a housemate (female) who was honest enough and decent enough to say my partner was lying..that she was the abuser on a consistant basis. yeah i dont agree with everything your saying but im a big girl as in not skinny and when i fought my sis whos like tiny some years back i kindda held back because if i wanted to i could have whoop her a** i think it depends on the situation & if she can take a hit.i do think guys should hold back if he really has to fight a girl other wise she might end up knock out or dead because alot of guys r stronger not to say that they cant be weaker though and the same thing should go to girls

My wife is stronger than me. We usually get along great, but once in a blue moon she gets so mad at me she will punch me. Her punches hurt so much more than a typical woman. She has actually decked me more than once. I don't know what to do.

@jethrodassam yeah it is ive never been in love b4 >.< so i guess it comes down to this would you want your kids to growup seeing there dad geting beat your kids might become afraid of there mom and trust me they will take your side or act the same way your wife does and it wont be pretty im talking from personal experience only vise versa so get her help talk to her have faith in her that or give her an ultimatum the last time i saw my dad i was a little scared when i remember those times

@jethrodassam if my mom would like seriously get hurt i was trying my best to hold back the tears but what stuck 2 me the most was when once my mom and dad was haveing a fight up stairs and he steped on her foot so my grandma bro and sis went up satirs and was protecting my mom & i stayed down stars scardshakeing just looking upthere from down stairs i know i was only 5 but my bro and sis who is only 2 and 3 years older went up there and i felt weak thats also y i put up a strong front today

@jethrodassam Leave her. That's the only thing you can do. If she has hit you more than once that means she will keep hitting you. You say you will never hit her but that anger is building up and the day you have had enough you will hit back or do something worse. So the best thing to do is leave the situation because if she really love you she wouldn't do anything to physically hurt you.

@ISMURDA dosent give him the right to beat t her trust me back in the day i had some real anger issues i dont do the things i used to do ive changed alot over the years.and i learnd to control my anger when it comes to physicalhurting someone but sometimes i do want to hit people but i dont .i do however tend to hurt people verbally though.which is something i need 2 work on but i only do it if i think someone is wrong or they hurt me so i hurt them which is something i need 2 work on

I get what you are saying. I myself have been in a relationship with a woman and everytime we would get into a argument or disaggreement she wanted to fight. I'm not talking slapping pushing. I'm talking punching, kicking, scratching all that shit. I would restrain and block as much as I could. One day I lost it and punched her right in the eye.
