I've owned and raced a tunnel hull jetboat for many years and If you want to get any real speed out of that Southwind hull you need to free up the hull, it's riding wayyyy to wet.

My running close to 90 is fast enough for a river boat. We have raced Blown Gas Jetboats for 20 years!. Go watch the other videos and you will see Mary Driving her Blown 16' Texas Tunnel @ 110mph on the Illinois River in very rough water.
