@shockolanu The ancient Macedonian language is lost, only 150 words are left and they are written in ancient Greek, Hellenic script, because the ancient Macedonians didn't have letters. Macedon doesn't exist in Hellenic, there is a theory that it comes from Macro which is a Greek word, but you don't see 'R' in Macedonia, so that's why I think its heritage can be seen in the Hindu language, the word Make witch means mother and donia which means land.

You can go all the way to Hindu Kush to look for similarities between Bulgarian language and the ancient Hellenic dialect of Macedonian.
