  • SAMOAN MEN > AFRICAN MEN

  • That ref looked like he got hurt

  • I want Tua vs sunny bill

  • What's the music?

  • @marimokayo

this is the music that was playing in griffis head... while it was getting rocked! lol

  • @Asian101Studd :) probably. i think tua accidently punched the ref.

  • I would of love to have seen mike tyson in his prime fight david tua, similar styles...

  • stupid music but at least it did make sence and was in time with the punches. but i hate other vids with pointless stupid music that just kills it.

  • great job brada

  • I was at this fight, man what a difference between the Tua then and Tua now. Not just physically but mentally. Looking forward to the remainder of the journey with the Tuaman...

  • ref lance revill gud call haha i go to his gym in pakuranga gud guy..lol

  • check out my video Mike Tyson vs David Tua

  • TUA FOR LIFE!

  • Ref almost got knocked the fuck out at the end.

  • Eure!!! Il est fou cet arbitre! il a failli se prendre une méchante droite

  • Samoan sandman??

  • That means he puts people to sleep like Mr. Sandman - the song.

  • who plays da song ?

  • ref got clipped at the end with his mouth wide open lol

  • this is where he met burger king..lolol

  • Damn..Tua looks big here..Tua kaka i lalo le 'ai spam..lol

  • geeez man how come every time i watch a boxing match there's at least one racist comment.

  • is reality..bro..and it sucks

  • Yeah, Tua was working. But this was about the only round in the entire fight. Tua was a great fighter but this was a shit fight for him, all bias aside. He was behind on points and was looking inactive the whole fight, he couldn't utilize his left hook.

This was not a world class fighter either, Griffis is a journeyman heavyweight the likes of which Cameron is used to fighting.

And yes it was in NZ.

  • REKU any opinions now post OCT 3 bro?

  • Hmm. Yeah the same as I've been saying in other videos.

I don't think Cameron's a bad boxer at all, it's just that he's not on Tua's level. Not THIS Tua.

The overweight, lazy Tua that fought Griffis, I don't think would have cleaned Cameron as quickly, but you never know.

People constantly say Cameron is crap and they compare him to Tua, the mere fact that he's compared to Tua just says he's a decent fighter. If you have to compare him to someone like that.

  • I'm disappointed Cameron lost, I really wanted it to be his time. But it's not, the Tua we all saw last night is incredible. I think it says something that Shane got knocked down twice and got up both times. Then was standing through 13 punches before going down. But it was evident from the first power punch Tua landed on him that it was never gonna go Cameron's way.

Props to Tua, well deserved win. It was a mismatch, I'm disappointed, but no excuses. Tua was and is a better fighter.

  • And one final opinion, the onslaught Cameron recieved last night, I really believe there's no one in the current heavyweight division that could have survived that. So I don't blame Cameron for getting beat that badly.

  • vitali klitcho can. no punch can ko him. its takes a foot to the face to ko him. (he lost one time a champ kickboxer)

  • I don't know about that. How many boxers with power like Tua has Vitali fought? I really don't know, Tua's trainer rates it at the level of a young Tyson and I don't think anybody doubt's that.

I think Tua's power 'could' pose a threat to Vitali, but right now I think a Tua-Klitschko fight would end rather the same way as the Tua-Lewis fight. The way to beat Tua is to use the jab to keep distance and just outbox him. Cameron wasn't the type to be able to do that, Vitali is. I don't know haha

  • Tua best chance is to be like holyfield and use his head as a jab LOL.

now tua has a good chance at beating the little brother wladimir cause his chin isent good enough

  • Yeah, I think youre right.

But Tua vs Lewis was a real let down. He had the goods to beat Lewis, but never really utilised his full repertoir. He never threw any combos, and instead just threw left hooks expecting Lewis to fall without even following up with a series of punches; to which Lennox took advantage of, and owned the match.

If Tua learnt anything that night, then Im sure the new more mature Tua will be sharpened enough to take out any of the Klitschko bros.

  • Yeah of course. But at the time that's the way he was trained. That's the mindset he had.

And the public certainly contributed that to him.

Everyone raves about his left hook, the public, the media, his family maybe even.

So it become a legendary aspect of him TO HIM.

He would go into fights relying on it and that's why he made the comments recently about how he wasn't ready for Lennox. He wasn't.

He had the potential to beat Lewis but not the mindset or training, again, he was overweight.

  • Totally agree dude. The aspect of his mindset goes deeper into Tua's

    psychological condtitioning.

Maybe his camp fed him the wrong ego?

Maybe coming from a small place like NZ or Sa, people were so proud of him that they set him on the pedestal of inivincibility? And he knew it.

Not only did Tua fall into this mindset, but also those around him did too, his camp making Tua fight at a heavier weight to which the one

hit knockout would be more "effective".

It made him sluggish, and less active.

  • If you see how he is now and the training/approach to a fight that he currently has.

If he was like this back when he fought Lennox. I'd be prepared to say he could very well have destroyed Lewis. Obviously I'd never count a great boxer like Lewis out but now I agree. He's physically and mentally sharper. And definitely a danger to any top HW.

  • I love Tua though, is it because Im a Poly? Maybe its beause I live around the corner to where he and his family originally lived back in the days?

If Tua hadnt lost to Lewis he wouldnt be the man he is today. Hard lesson learnt, but I believe humility makes one oh the more so deadlier.

And I would be one of those ppl in the public that used to put him on a pedestal LOL.... But thats all in the past, and I still support the brother 100% in his future endeavours.

  • @Leweyjet: I have to jump in on your conversation. There is one punch in particular, early in the fight, I think the second round he throws such a hard punch but his hand gets caught behind the ringropes. If he hadn't made this critical error, I believe Tua would have knocked him out but that is a 'what if' scenario.

I agree with you're point of view that Tua let his emotions better him, but his corner gave him such bad advice, it was almost like they were unprepared for a win.

  • well dere is a interview between Tua & Lewis, Lewis couldnt understand why Tua wasnt giving his all - asper his other fights - Tua advs he is not taking anything away from Lennox, but Tua said he was very disappointed with himself, even listening 2 his corner - u have 2 remember Tua is frm a very small Island - n dis is something big for a small island - lots of pressure - but dat wasnt the reason - Tua said in his doco -that he was injuried coming intoo the fight. but tua said dats da past

  • Yeah I understand that, but in more recent interviews he openly admitted that he wasnt ready for Lewis (and I also heard of his injury before the Lewis fight).

But at the end of the day, boxing history will remember only one thing. Lewis defeated Tua.

  • Well i agree with u. i was very disappointed with that fight, i couldnt understand, how it slipped from his fingers. but thats the pass now,

  • I remember that Sunday, I booked it on pay per view, and everyone came over for lunch and watch the fight. I was so frustrated!!! I was swearing and came to the point I almost threw my plate of food at the tv. After the fight I stood up and everyone from church was sitting at the back LOL!

I was so pissed off Tua never really did anything and that he let his emotions get the best of him. But hey, all in the past. And cant neglect the fact that Lewis is an awesome boxer.

  • 4 sure, Lennox is the best boxer of that era. watching that Hayes fight on the weekends, i nearly fell asleep. oh wait i did. lol, couldnt wait until it was over.

  • The rumor is that Tua was poorly managed and was injured weeks before the fight and should have pulled out, but it was the biggest prize fight of his career guaranteed millions and they convinced him not to. I believe it was a hand injury or a rib injury.

  • which klitcho did brewster knock down?

  • bomber man that's funny....Lance Revil rah rah man for Cameron and being knocked out by enough coconuts lol!! I remember that interview and being suprised at his comments too.

  • and that reff has balls just leaps in front of tua to stop the punishment

  • don't worry about that prick he's a cameron rah rah boy Lacne revill is his name catch him bad mouthing tua in the Ahunanya clip. • "dirtyjew1974"....youre gay man...you judge the boxer by there look....LOL. youre the most gayest person on youtube.....

ALL IT MATTER IS TAT THEY CAN DO THE JOB DONE IN THE RING.....

  • The ref shouldn't have stopped the fight, this was in new zealand.

  • dirtyjew go fuck yourself you schlepp

  • the ref should be more carefull, he almost had his head removed by tua lol.

  • dont get me wrong, i really like tua and i think he is a very good and very underated heavyweight.."BUT", that being said, I think most folks would agree that he's not much of a looker, but he dont have to be, he's a killer in the ring and one of the most vicious punchers to ever set foot in the ring , but before anymore of you get mad at me for aknowledging his rough looks just ask yourself, do you think he's sexy? and if you dont think so then dont bother sending me more junk mail comments!

  • dirtyjew your ugly yourself cunt!!

  • hey mrsamoan28, do you know what i look like then, and if you think tua is sexy then perhaps you should ask him out on a date, after all he is wearing a dress though i think he'd prefer you to be the woman.

  • hey mrsamoan28, why did you leave a comment on my page calling me a nigger coon and telling me tua would knock me out? im not even black, im a jew, and as far as a fight between me and tua i know he'd knock my head off...im not even a heavyweight and tua hits like a truck, id of sent you a personal meassage but you dont accept meassages from folks who arent on your friends list so this is the best i could do.

  • thats not tua dumbasses

  • that didnt look like david tua, he looks too fat and ugly to be tua, although tua is also a bit pudgy and ugly this guy was very fat and verrrrry ugly!

  • ugly like ur mum or ugly like u?

  • are you emplying that you think tua is goodlooking then?

  • fuck your a dickhead lol

  • Great video! I really like how you synced the music with the video also - great timing. Yeeeeee

  • way to win uncle..

    hopefuly we see ya again..

  • if this is your uncle, i just want to know...where is he and that last fight i saw him with lennox lewis was his but it seemed like he was backing off after dazing lewis a few times...again, where is uso Tua at?

  • tua is a very great fighter!

    is the song by primus?

  • gotta give it up for Griffis though, he's got a LOT of heart.

  • He's gotta grow the hair back out. He's startin' to look like a cross between Butterbean and a hula-dancer with that skirt. By the time those f**ckin' promoters get their head out of their asses, Tuaman will be 40 years old. Cool music too. Thanks

  • sometimes you get hit so hard you can't remember how to fall down.

  • haha yeh...the kind of hits that linger on long after the fight, probably brain damaged.....lol jkz

  • Damn that was bloody awesome....

  • Tua should be getting another shot at a title soon. but all the top guys are scared to fight him.

  • Once in his prime, David could beat every one of current heavyweight title holders besides Waldimir.

  • i agree, but he got the punchers chance.

  • kuluku..
