I read somewhere that u used toyo winter tyres for the drifting. which one exactly? i still can choose between the original micheline pilot sport 2 or the conti tyres on my 1 MQP. have they both too much grip on wet mue to make nice long drifts with a still "reasonable" speed like in your vid ;)?
looks fun and risky. it would be such a shame to waste such a car ! Anyway nice driving man, i am impressed. I was always scared to do that with my e30 in high speeds like this
The last 2 corners were in 3rd gear had no time to watch the speedo. But It was faster then 70. Such a long corner on dry is possible but you need to up the speed much much higher. I try that rather on a racetrack:)
@JzAeroo And your point is? Oh you mean drifting on a wet surface is same as do it on a dry surface? You really are serious? :D I have 14 years of racing experience and I can promise you that doing that 120km/h+ on a wet road is impossible with 321bhp on a dry road. I was able to do that in about 80km/h with my AMG on a public road..
@sodamus Im not suggesting that it's the same 'oh-I'm-so-good-cuz-I-have-14-years-of-race-experience'. I'm saying that drifting this car on a dry surface ain't a big deal. If you learn to read before you learn yourself to drive you would see I never insulted your comment and you would see that I said that it wouldn't be a problem to drift this car on dry roads. Plus if you think this is 120km/h you're quite bad at guessing his speed.
@JzAeroo You're right about the speed, it's not 120km/h, it's more like 70km/h. My bad. With 1M it's not hard to drift, true, that car is absolutely beautiful by it's balance and weight/power ratio. My point was that drifting on such a narrow road is prettttheey hard on a dry surface. You need more space or hellowa more power. No beef, just reality.
@sodamus Hehe Alright, Well yes I agree it's hard to drift on these kind of roads, especially because there's no failure buffer. One mistake and you're in a ditch or in a tree, but I'm just sure that this driver knows what he's doing. Seen a few videos of him drifting on (Dutch btw) public roads, you should see them! He has quite some control. Nevertheless, lot's of people in Japan drift on these narrow roads too, if not, even more narrow :)
@JzAeroo Narrow + gently sloping curve needs a lot power and a good chassis. Those Skylines in Japan are narrow but also very tight curves = easy to drift.
WOW!!!!
Amazing drifting! Some of the best on YouTube, for sure!

No Winter Tires. I used 235/40/18 Toyo C1S tires on BMW styling 270 rims.

@sodamus I believe he's a racedriver, so drifting a car wouldn't be that much of a problem I guess?
