Obama is a politician, not the democratic messiah. He isn't perfect and he isn't pure, and he's definitely less liberal than Hillary or Edwards. He has to be vague and lean to the center if he is going to win the election. Catering soley to the left is not going to win him any swing states. And even though I am farther left of the political spectrum, if he wins the election, the US will definitely be better in the long-run.

You make some good points, However in that speech he first criticizes the right for using patriotism as a bludgeon. He needed to criticize the left as well so it did not seem as if his speech was a wholesale attack on republicans, which would have obscured his message. I would think that most people think that the betray us ad was over the top, even while recognizing that Petraeus cooked the numbers. It's one thing to say he did a poor job it's another to accuse him of betrayal.

Obama's central theme has, for the very beginning, been change. That's why people have been so loyal to him. Now that he has the nomination tied up he is taking the centrist route. This is politics as usual, not change. He's making McCain look like the more reliable, stable candidate.

Ralph Nader is polling at 6% in the CNN polls. ANd if people would allow him to be in the debate, and Democrats stopped voting the lesser of 2 evils, and Ron Paul, Kucinich, Gravel, Barr, and Nader supporters united then he can win.
A vote for Obama may win the battle but loses the war for the Democrats having compromised his principles to pander for corporate necons voters.

I just talked to an organisation investingating why 100 million people on average don't vore which is 60% of the registered elction, a pattern that has occurred over last 40 years. They said on reason is the loudest protest is not voting, an told me 60% of non voting registered voters outnumbers the 2 paties put together.He said they are usually anti war voters tha thave no alternative to vote for so don't vote. That's why we need a 3rd party as a landslide with 40% turnout is terrble.

That's because Nader doesn't play idenity politics. For example, Nader is every bit as historic as Hillary and Obama being the 1st Christian son of Lebonese immigrants who is a respected American that can communicate in mulitple languages including Arabic. I only found that out the other day yet suddenly I'm sure it makes his story more interesting and he'd get more media attention. But he chooses to focus on issues the media chooses not to pay attention to.

6% in the polls with no national coverage is very impressive considering that's double the % he got to vote for him in the 2000 election. If he makes in to 15% then he will be able t get into the debates. Your rsponse didn't give legitmate reasons of why not to vote for Nader as saying he can't win is an outcome of people being put off voting for him for that prediction alone.
As Jon Stewart said to Ralph Nader:
