great video. I've performed this type of approach before; precision approach onto a runway with (up to CAT III) then joining the regular visual circuit in a "bad weather format" so low and circular. think its just in case one runway does not have sufficient instrumentation for poor weather and the wind is blowing in the opposite direction for the necessary approach/runway. correct me if i'm wrong!

with this video I got the answer why this aircraft (I think I saw you from the ground) suddenly performed a left-turn over my house without a following go-around. I've never saw sth like this before in Dresden, but thanks for the enlightement :D

To get the correct answer I have to ask the crew. Standby for that.

But one reason could be: to save time, or for training.
