  • fuck that movie is hilarious!

  • creepy video! very nicely edited, i loved it..lucy is one crazy ginger!!

  • this is not even comparable to twilight.

one of the best film adoptions of the novel by Bram Stoker,

i really enjoyed reading the book.

  • i thought oldmans portrayal made me feel the pain , loneliness. and loss of his wife elizabetta............ i felt more of a humane element watching this version...

  • a man could love you for life but only a vampire can love you for an eternity

  • @videogirl201 Very nice said...thanks

  • omg when he raped Lucy as a werewolf, that was weird.

  • Lucy dress reminds me lady gaga xD

  • whats the music? its beautiful

  • @savagesamurai I think it's ortodox music

  • Incredible what a man do for love..

  • @MelySakuraDiva THIS MOVIE IS THE BEST,,,,,,

  • okay in the book by bram stoker mina helps them get rid and kill dracula..she doesn't want to be a vampire she finds him repulsive and satanic not attractive like the movie and lucy doesn't want to be a vampire and isn't attracted to dracula either. movie totally deviates from the real story

  • Sorry -

the Musik..........it is so beautiful! Wat is this for?

Want you please tell me the title and the interprets.

Thank you so much - Tina!

  • GOOD JOB. CONGRATULATIONS !!

  • the book is soooo different....

  • Huge fan of Sadie Frost - this is great, thank you! ♥

  • She definetly is more scarier than dracula.

The first time i saw her, i couldn't sleep for three days!

  • omg she got raped

  • Awesome movie!!!

    Lucy was a fantastic character.

  • Frost was stunning in this film. Why didn't she get any more decent roles? What a shame.

  • Well heres the thing ... Dracula was pissed off at Jonathon Harker, Because he had Mina, And he didnt ... So why the hell did he take it out on poor Lucy?? lol

  • he was horny and wanted to fuck her

  • what are you sayin' man ~? you always Do another bitch if ya cant get the one you want :)

  • Cause he wanted Mina lol

  • lucy is awesome in this movie, this whole movie is amazing, but she's totally different in the novel, in the book she is a completely innocent and naiive girl in love whose sexuality explotes when she turns into the vampire

  • Exactly. Wonderful but mistitled movie, this Lucy is one of my favorite female vampires, but Stoker´s Lucy was not hardboiled nymphomaniac.

  • awesome

  • hermosa

  • Wonderful.

  • amo esta pelicula

  • I read the book and in the book there was not even a mention of a kiss between Lucy & Mina.

  • And there wouldn't have been. I don't get why the put it in there on that film clip. It's sort of stupid. Lucy used her sexuality in the book, but it was against men not women. I think they just added it in for the whol Lesbian-vamp-girl on girl thing. Stupid.

  • well thats one think you will have to hand to bram is that he saw that a sexual creature like lucy likes to get fucked and licked.

  • i thought so 2

it really wasnt necessary and it was as random as crap

  • i loved the crypt scene!

  • my fav charater!

  • is dracula having sex with lucy as a werwolf?

  • Comment removed

  • Yes

  • Wow I wish e do that to me! Wolf!

  • he was rapping her

  • Are you sure that you have spelt that right?

  • One word: AMAZING

  • can you tell me about the music

  • why did he bit lucy

  • Read the book.

  • im reading the book and i dont undertsand why he bit lucy

  • He needed blood and wanted to start his harem, thus he picked a noblewoman -Lucy- and fed on her.

  • what chapter do they say that i jus got to 21 did i pass it

  • He bit her because she was seated on a suicide's seat in the cemetary that Dracula was resting under not too long after he arrived in Whitby on The Demeter,

As to Dracula's motivations, they're a little vague in the Stoker novel, it's generally accepted though that he planned to 'turn' Lucy and Mina early on.

    Leslie S. Klinger's

'The New Annotated Dracula' gives some insight into Dracula's likely motivations.

  • ok I get the whole Lucy theory but how did Dracula know that Mina even existed? Apparently that in the book, Dracula was in love with Mina. But how, exactly? Did he just randomly saw her walking down a street or something? Or does it have to do with her being Lucy's best friend? And has it ever been specified that the 3 women in Dracula's castle are really his brides?

  • Dracula knew Mina existed because Harker was writing letters to her back in England from Dracula's castle in Transylvania which Dracula saw,

IMHO he became aware of Mina when Dracula became psychically attuned to Lucy, however Dracula wasn't in love with Mina in the Stoker novel he was something closer to a predatory rapist in Stoker's story.

  • Plus Mina isn't in love with Dracula in the story, she requests Van Helsing to kill her with a stake if she turns into a vampire,

As to the 3 women Van Helsing had stated at chapter 27 that the primary female vampire has a tomb that is

"as if made to one beloved"

it's generally accepted that these are Dracula's mistresses if not his wives although their remarks about his unloving nature and his rough treatment of the fair vampire doesn't show too much affection on his part IMHO.

  • Why exactly would he pick a noblewoman?

  • Neither Mina or Lucy were noblewomen.

  • At least not in the novel, Lucy was being courted by a lord however

    (Lord Godalming.)

  • Lucy was well-born though, although I cannot remember if her family had an official title. I will check the novel and see...

  • Yes she was well-born,

     I don't believe her family

had an official title but I could be wrong,

it's been awhile since I last read Dracula.

  • She would have to be well-born to marry Lord Goldaming and have three suitors,

As I remember in the story she had one living mother.

  • i thought u r retarded...retard

  • is this a low budget movie??

  • are you retarded?

  • Poor Lucy. The kissing part with Winona and Lucy is jucy. The sex part with the beast is kind of sexy in a hunting way.

  • I saw the movie, but have not read the book yet. Did Lucy and Mina have an "affair" in the book? Because I saw them kissing in the movie, so I wondered was there more of a story to that.

  • Lucy was human but Dracula drank her blood, she died and became a vampire.

  • "Reading the book based on the movie" Good grief. At least you are reading the book.

  • I am reading the book based on the movie right now.I love Sadie Frost as Lucy. She is such a beautiful redhead!

  • i never saw the film and i never read the book but god knows that i have read countless other vampire books and i prefer other theories better even though i know that this is the original one and i respect that but there are a lot of interesting theories out there from different authors.

  • I agree with MarieEtOlivia.. Lucy is not like that at all.. They should at least give the movie another title. It would be ok if it wasn't named 'Bram Stoker's Dracula'. Lucy would blush and hit that book of kama sutra away. She was clean, polite, sweet and gentle in the book. In the movie she was flirty, outrageous and pretty rude. Sure, both didn't need to be innocent and pure, but that's how HE wrote it. It should be respected.

  • ummm. purity has more to do with the condition of one's heart than one's hymen. really.

  • Yes, it has. Definitely.

  • What a fantabulous comment. I'm surpised you haven't gotten more positive responces.

  • I have never read Dracula, and this confuses me. What I think know is that lucy is a vampire- was she born one or bitten,or am i totaly wrong that she is one?

  • She gets bitten.

You MUST see the movie, it's fantabulous. :)

  • i'll look it up then :)

  • or u can read the book

  • is that a real word? :D

  • The novel´s Lucy was delicate , feminine, sensuous little flirt, "lily-like girl" with "unequalled sweetness and purity". Vampire women were strong, but enslaved by their Lord and Master - Devil´s whores. Very anti-feminist book, so naturally it disturbs feminists and is rewitten by them or for them.

  • CONT. Still, I admire the pure beauty of the movie - the wonderful fruitcake visuals, including Lucy and Mina! And Lucy is beautiful like an angel with her red hair and lovely fashion sense - full of life and indeed dazzlingly clean, like just risen from the luxury bath! D,

  • silly. It is not anti-feminist at all. You crack me up. if anything al th eplot devices and enslavement you mention merely are witnesses and evidence for what feminists talk about. Just because some women are enslaved doesn't mean all can or will be. Just because some men are doesn't mean all are. Plenty of so-called whores are empowered courtesans who have ruled the world.

  • But modern writers read something very anti-feminist to it, because they add feminism and try make Lucy as a "victim who got what she deserved" and Mina as "New woman" - 1979 and 1992 versions, book rewitings etc.

  • I love this film, but the book is better.

  • I love Dracula! Him will be ruler of the world

  • I loved Lucy so much,Inamed my dachshund after her!

  • I love this movie.

  • Oh boo hoo hoo. You know Francis Ford Copolla could have made 'the story of Lucy' into what Bram Stoker actually wrote it to be: the story of a pure, chaste, innocent beauty whose goodness was destroyed by Death. Instead they made her into a disgusting sluttish little madam whose every line of dialogue involves penis's and karma sutra! Its sick! Yeah, shes FABULOUS as a vampire, but elsewhere...she's not Bram Stokers 'light of the west' at all!!!

  • Yeah...but who would want to watch it? Stoker's novel is so rapt with racial metaphor's it's ridiculous. Do BOTH of the leading ladies need to be pure and innocent visions of Anglo Chastity? Lucy's character was real in the film. Definitely moreso than in the Novel.

  • haha not a perv. love andromance and vampires are the best thing ever

  • This film actually does the book justice. And Gary Oldman...

  • It's so beautiful and romantic. I wanna cry.

    I love this romantic movie

    XO

    Veronica

  • That last shot of the glass coffin ...beautiful and poignant.

  • Lucy has to be the best movie vampire so far.

  • i love how the wolf in the zoo has no trouble whatsoever getting out of its cage

  • haahah you son of a bitch ! you remind me of my brother

  • could you post the whole movie??please!!!or the most important scenes at least??pleaseee!

  • Am I the only one who thinks that sex scene is hot as hell? Or am i just a perv, lol?

  • nope you're not perv the scene is hot because sex n love are pure human nature, they make the world go round =)

  • can you npost the hole scene on 108

  • That red dress is Gorgeous!! I

  • Amo esta pelicula

    Im love film

  • Lovely job.

  • Is... is Lucy making out with Mina at 3:35? o_o; that didn't happen in the book.....

  • That was added in the movie, cannot complain about it though...

  • i didn't get it why did they make out when i saw the movie

  • I would say that the lesbian behavior could be a comment on the restructuring of society post industrial revolution. The idea of an individual as a self with desires begins to emerge as familial ties are no longer necessary for survival. Experimentation with these urges begin to emerge; though, because they are not part of popular discourse, they go unnoticed or ignored in the collective knowledge. Mina and Lucy may have just been experimenting with these desires.

  • i think it was due to dracula's little-known power to make hot chicks make out with each other.

  • Case in point - his wives also make out with each other ;)

  • do one on the story of Harker. its a pretty interesting character

  • Lucy was so hot and sexy! Red head gorgeous!!Mina was boring...

  • I agree about Lucy. I would like to "do" her so bad that I can taste it.

  • 1:08 is so strange...

  • You know...Lucy was not a slut in the book!

  • she's not a slut in the film either! lol

  • Oh...good. Probably shouldn't comment on a movie I haven't seen. ;) Just LOOKED that way.

  • Ah I see, no harm done then, lol!

  • Watch the movie, for the love of God! Yes, it's cheesy at times, but if you can overlook that you are in for a treat.

  • Well she isn't a slut in the traditional sense of the word. She just flirts with everyone and is a little more sexed up compared to the book verison of herself. :X

  • At last, a music video that isn't for ghettotards.

  • that's really offensive

  • On any normal day, no one would take that for anything other than sardonic or funny, as in, "yeah, it's offensive - the ugly lowest common denominator culture that gets sold by greedy marketers..." 'n all that; but because this is the internet, such a remark might actually, no kidding, for really real, be serious... so apologies that I can't tell one way or the other.

  • cool!!! I love this movie good job on this vid about Lucy!!!!

  • Lucy is horny during the whole movie!

  • what is this song called?

  • ave vernum corpus :)

  • wait! sorry, wrong dracula movie!

  • i think her name is Sophia Myles

  • No, Sophia Myles was in Tristan and Isolde with James Franco and Rufus Sewell. Lucy in Bram Stoker's Dracula is played by Sadie Frost. :)

  • lucy is more beautiful than mina..who is the actres?

  • lucy is a designer she was only on this one film

  • "lucy is a designer she was only on this one film"

Huh? You mean Sadie Frost(Lucy)? URL imdbDOTcom/name/nm0001244/

    Lots of films.

  • Sadie Frost. She was once married to Jude Law.

  • Sadie Frost plays Lucy, I agree that she is more beautiful than Mina

  • Great Video, because sadie is in there

  • Beautiful! Lucy was always one my favorite characters!

  • Well done! Isn't that such a beautiful movie?

*Sigh* I'd kill to have Lucy's Wedding/Burial dress and that glass coffin <3

  • This is beautiful. The classic score works so well with the footage, giving it a somber and meaningful feel about it. WELL DONE! ^o^

  • beautiful and so romantic!

  • I never did like Lucey in the book or the movie same with Van Helsing I found them to both rather boring and annoying charcters. But in the 1992 verison of the movie they gave Helsing charcter.

  • Anthony Hopkins probably delivers some of the best lines in that movie.

  • This is beautifully done. Thank you.

  • Awesome video. I've always felt so sorry for Lucy- she was definitely a fantastic character =] Great movie, and this is a great vid.

  • pz!!!! is there anyway 4 u 2 upload the full movie! i wuld die 2 c it! oh! and awesum movie dude!
