i want a long lasting medium coverage foundation that will make my skin look soo smooth and flawless and dewyyy- i esp love dewy look coz i have dry skin so i like a foundation that gives that luminous look. i tried chanel vitalumiere buuuut HATED IT because it melts off my face and is just way too wet. i tried estee lauder double wear and i love how it makes my skin look smooth buuut it doesnt add any luminoisity to my skin..can you recommend a foundation?

@rochee77 I would suggest Dior Nude- it is a water based foundation so it should stay well with out making you oily!

@xkkaarreenn I prefer the DA but the nars is less expensive! Truthfully I like Neutrogena healthy skin better than the NARS- it is a great dupe but not as yellow! and way less $

I really like the NARS much better! It has better staying power! I would say Punjab would work in nars and 5.5 in GA if you want to try that one!

you should do the following: wash, moisturize, prime, liquid, concealer, powder. I have not sure of the difference.

I thought Primer is first than Moisturizer?

yes wash your face. You should moisturize before you prime. Primer goes on right before a founadtion!

it gives a more airbrushed look with a brush! :o) It is a great product but since I have found others that I like as much if not more- like sheseido sun protection liquid foundation and peter roth un wrinkle!

@GoddessAthena1023 The best brush to use is Armani's blender brush. It has shorter, less tapered bristles that buff into the skin for a more flawless finish.

What's the different between luminous silk foundation and lasting silk uv foundtaion spf 20?

@TheKitty102 the Lasting Silk has a Matte finish and of course a better grip (lasting power) on the skin. It's also better for oily skin types. Luminous silk has a nice dewy finish. Great for all skin types. Both have simliar coverage and aren't too heavy.

Alot of people are saying this foundation (the GA Luminous foundation) is sheer coverage...kind of like a tinted moisturizer. Is it very sheer to you or would you say its a medium coverage??? Please let me know soon. Thanks for all the great videos. :<)

Lisa, is the #2 shade close to a light colored ivory? Evertime I get color matched, they always pick a darker color base than I would pick. When they first put it on it looks ok, but hours later it looks a lot darker. So if you saw #1 and #2 shades, I would appreciate your opinion on these colors.

Lisa, can you tell me the difference between this Armani foundation and the Laura Mercier oil free foundation? I love the sheer consistency of the LM base and I wondered if the GA was similar? I've never tried the GA. If I wanted GA, it isn't available in the state I live in, so I cannot get colormatched. I am fair skin w/ pink/red undertones, could I get away w/ the lighest Ivory shade? Is the ivory too pale for most light skin complexions?

I have not used the LM foundaton so i can not comapre it sorry! I called a store and they color matched me over the phone- I would suggest doing it that way! :o) Good Luck ot is a great foundation!

I think it works great for my skin and I am combo skin also. If I feel oily I use my murad oil control lotion on first and it gives the perfect look! :o)

Hi! Saw your review of the Giorgio Armani Foundation, I bought Armani Luminous foundation number 5. I am very picky with how foundation feels on skin after few hours and how it looks on my skin. I actually really like Dior Nude because it is 40% water based which helps hydrate in the summer- I also like the MSF natural for powder! :o)

My favorite foundation - although the Giorgio Armani Designer has more coverage . Very light on your skin. Nordstrom's in Chicago's MIchigan Ave has Armani cosmetic counter.

Hello! I went to MAC and I got my MARGIN and I really like it, so pretty! I forgot to get the Fix+ though! ;( but I have heard that the F.Y. Eye (eye primer) from Benefit is really good. So I may buy it later. Have you used that one?

Lisa, HELP>>>I am in a foundation search. I need a company that carries a color that falls into the neutral range other than Este Lauder. They carry warm shade, cool shades and neutral shades. Most products are too yellow for me and I do need a neutral. The MUA at MAC suggested I try the MAC all over body make up that comes in neutral ranges. Can you think of any other company's that have a neutral color range as well? Thanks

Dior has a neutral range... the shades that end in the number zero. Love their Diorskin Nude! (the even numbers are cool and the odds are warm... or the other way around)

this one seems to work well for that and so does the dior, but the chanel accentuates the oils I think! Hope that helps you!
