i am a catholic and i do believe in God but i am sure that God has better things to do that preserve a human which i don't believe has happened here i bet that there is human intervention here not divine intervention. if u dont like my opinion then dont comment as this is my opinion and i hope that as my neighbour u will respect me as i will u
The Bible states in John 20:27 (HANDS NOT WRISTS) " Then said to Thomas, put your finger and behold MY HANDS" please read your Bibles. God Bless you all.
@greenpenone. Watch in quest of the truth on national geographic. It was shown that crucifiction thru the hands was possible but also more torturous because of the nerve that travels thru the palm.

The Church exacts certain conditions before recognizing the validity of stigmata. The wounds must all appear at the same time; they must cause considerable modification of the tissues; they must remain unaltered despite medical treatment; they must cause hemorrhages; and they must not result in infections or suppuration, or in instant and perfect healing.
From the medical point of view, the stigmata cannot be considered as wounds or sores, because they do not heal even when treated," Dr. Silvestri explained. "They neither become infected nor do they decompose; they do not degenerate in necrosis, and do not exude a bad odor. They bleed and remain constant and unaltered for years, against all laws of nature."
He also reported the extraordinary conversion of his cousin, the lawyer Cesare Festa, former mayor of Arenzano of Genoa and one of the most eminent personalities in Ligurian Freemasonry.
Dr. Festa had often described to his cousin his impressions of his visits to San Giovanni Rotondo. The doctor's opinions about Padre Pio's wounds, which were scientifically inexplicable, and his admiration for Padre Pio were often the cause of sharp arguments between the two cousins
. One day, however, the lawyer Festa left for San Giovanni Rotondo. When he reached the monastery, he asked some of the friars about Padre Pio, who himself happened to be among them. Without waiting for the lawyer to introduce himself, Padre Pio walked over to him and, greeting him affably, said,
From Foggia, Dr. Festa received the following letter from his cousin:
I'm coming back from San Giovanni Rotondo and I'm on my way to Genoa. Allow me to embrace you and tell you with all the strength of my soul: thank you! You have opened for me a road I am going to follow
I return with a profound sweetness in my soul, deeply moved and desiring silence, silence so that nothing may disturb my spirit.
In his account, Dr. Festa continues:
At Genoa, after this first episode, his life changed radically; he wanted to be in touch with the most enlightened priests of the city; he devoted himself to works of charity; he frequented the House of God assiduously, prayed, meditated...
The Blessed Mother told me that God gives us all choices. Everyone responds to these choices. Everyone can choose if he wants to go to hell or not. Anyone who goes to hell chooses hell.
Question: "Marija, how and why does a soul choose hell for himself for all eternity
Visonary at medjugorie . QUESTION Does GOD SEND ANYONE TO HELL
Marija: "In the moment of death, God gives us the light to see ourselves as we really are. God gives freedom of choice to everybody during his life on earth. The one who lives in sin on earth can see what he has done and recognize himself as he really is.
When he sees himself and his life, the only possible place for him is hell. He chooses hell, because that is what he is. That is where he fits. It is his own wish.
Question: When a man dies, God gives him special graces and blessings to decide where he should go himself. God gives him a scene, reviewing his whole life, what he has done in his life, and so God gives him graces to decide where he should go, according to his life. He has a free choice. question
So, He gives you so many graces you say, 'God, I don't deserve
Since 1960 we have seen the prophecy of the Third Secret unfold before our eyes, and it is clear that since that time the world has been progressively suffering from a terrible loss of faith.
In 1984 Bishop Alberto Cosme do Amaral of Fatima confirmed that the Third Secret of Fatima is not about atomic war or the end of the world, but instead concerns the Catholic Faith, and specifically the loss of that Faith throughout (at least) Europe. (See quote in "Published Testimony: The Bishop of Fatima (September 10, 1984)".)
A team of doctors and nurses examined her while I sat in the waiting-room. They came to me and said: "Mr Mulrine, your wife has no more than half an hour to live. She either had a massive brain haemorrhage or has a tumour of the brain. We just don't know but we feel that's most probably what it is
Yet She Recovered . Fact . After the praying to Padre Pio Another Fact .
I think I have more than proved my point. mr pio was buried in a special casket with two airtight compartments because they knew they were going to dig him up and mount him for the dupes to see. He had to be tarted up before he went on display. He isn't incorrupt any more than anybody else. God has no part in this nonsense. The embalmers and morticians do all the work. Leave him outside for a couple of weeks and see what happens I say. Phooey!
Why do people subject themselves to this kind of sickness in this day and age? This isn't religion, it's an illness of the mind. He was, by their own admission, tarted up for public display. God has nothing to do whatsoever IMHO with this load of cods wallop
his body isn't incorrupt everyone. he was embalmed after he died. it's just been preserved well. it's not incorrupt like St. Bernedette or the Cure of Ars
yes, young people, believe, believe...i was cured by padre pio as a baby..i had weeks to live...i went back years later to receive my first holy communion from him.. he was a saint... god bless you padre pio, and pray for those who have turned their back on god and adore material things of this short life.. thank you.. from Ireland..
Scripture says we were "all baptized into one body" (1 Corinthians 12:13). Christians are one body which is not divided by death or anything else (Rom 8:38-39). Christians in heaven are still members of that body of Christ? We are invited to honor the "heroes" of the faith (Heb 6:12, 11:1-40, Jas 5:10-11).
Catholics believe people in heaven are alive. (Mat 19:29, 25:46, Mat 10:17-22, Mk 10:30, Lk 10:25-30, Lk 18:18-30, Jn 3:15-16). We see Lazarus alive by Abraham's side (Lk 16:22). And at the transfiguration we see Moses and Elijah alive beside Jesus. (Mat 17:3)
"Graves of the dead were opened and they went into town to preach the Gospel." (Mat 27:52). Jesus said "Now he is a God not of the dead, but of the living; for to him all of them are alive." (Lk 20:39-40)
I am a C of E christian & to me this is not real i believe in the work he did dont get me wrong but God has better things to do than to preserve bodies of anyone not in the bible last time i checked i think out of all the faiths in the world the catholic faith is the most corrupt. the gold chair the pope sits on tones of gold within all the catholic churches cud be put to better use to help those in africa etv before ppl get in my face my dad is a vicar and i was brought up with christian values
@scousechick87 As far as I can see the rot started to set in the moment Jesus left the scene. I see him from my standpoint as an eclectic Pagan as one of the highly evolved beings sent lead us back on the path, however It is my personal belief the catholic church has little to do with Jesus or God, and more to do with power and money. A pope who was in the Hitler youth and spent many years in charge of the inquisition is far from my idea of a spiritual being claiming to be the word of God.
@1970000100 Looks like you did? QWhy are you asking me? BTW, The stigmata, as I think I already pointed out, were in the wrong place. The Romans always struck the nails through the wrists because the palms of the hand weren't strong enough to take the weight without tearing. And that's a known historical fact. The nazis found that out as well. Can you possibly tell me why all the catholic stigmatics had the same problem? Could it be of the mind rather than of anything to do with God perhaps?
The Romans crucified people with nails through the wrist. All christain stigmatics have wounds through their palms? Wrong
Writing in the April 2006 issue of the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine , Piers Mitchell and Matthew Maslen argue there is insufficient evidence to ascertain precisely how people died from crucifixion in Roman times.
The Nation Geo . Channel Examined This and said Was Possible as Support . Ie Wooden Block Was Placed Underneat The feet And . Thus Nails were driven through the feet into the wooden block..
@1970000100Possible but not historically correct. Historically the Romans always, when not tying hands and feet, put the nails just above the wrist, between the two bones of the forearm (the radius and the ulna ) q: So why do stigmatics always have the wounds through their palms? A: because it's a mind thing, not a God thing. If it were of God, wouldn't the wounds appear where the Romans actually put the nails?

im a christian church of england & to me this is not the work of God Our Lord. he & the lord jesus have better things to do ie people in the 3rd world and war and death preserving the bodies of people. i cannot find in the bible where God calls them to be a nun monk or anything of tht form my dad is a vicar and i was brought up in a strict christian home. all this is utter bullcrap. i thank those who have served god but i will not honour a faith tht is fake & has more gold than all the others
**** WARNING! The TDODC&D is near… You have the right to chose before it was "too late"! Heaven - "God is Love." (1 John 4:8,16) or Hell fire - "Satan, father of lies." (John 8:44) Jesus said: "For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and lose his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Matt.16:26) Le Nghia, "unworthy servant" (Luke 17:10) Capuchin Franciscan
I;m gonna tell you this - for people who care so much about the soul and spiritual stuff, Christian's are too excited about these dead shells. Come on, it's not that person anymore, it's just his carcass.
Lets see...embalming fluid, wax, make up, and a airtight glass coffin. Now lets put him in my backyard for a few years and see what we get. Man the Catholic church goes all out to put on a good show. What is sad is people actually believe this.
@schlabresfan I agree with you 100% You've hit the nail right on the head there, my friend. That clip where they dug up mr pio. The size of that coffin with several layers. The knew they were going to dig him up again; stands to reason. Even then, the public weren't allowed to see his corpse until after it had been prepared for viewing. What a sham. I want to know why, if he is a saint, why the heck isn't Harry Edwards one? That man cured thousands of people through his works. Wrong religion?
One of the reasons I don't understand religion or that I'm trying to understand it is because of this. Why would God heal a body when growing up all we hear is that once dead, the body doesn't matter. All that matters is the soul that goes up to God and the body is and becomes nothing. I don't believe this. I'd like to, but I just don't understand why it would heal AFTER he died.
@MrDetwaa In the Catholic tradition the body is important. Yes our bodies will die and the soul will go to be judged by God. However, that is not the end of the body. Catholics and many Protestants believe we will all be resurrected, our bodies will be brought back to life. Jesus' was the first person to experience this resurrection after his death. In the Bible Jesus said all who put their trust in him will receive bodies like his that last forever.
@ifollies Well that's a good point. But it's still confusing to me. I'm catholic but I don't understand my own religion. I'm not an atheist AT ALL. But what you're saying sounds great and all, but some bodies have become decomposed and are no longer existent. Some are skeletons. I guess I have to think outside the box.
@MrDetwaa. I converted to Roman Catholicism a year ago. It was a difficult personal journey. I was bothered by many things in the religion and had to slowly work through them all. Unfortunately, I did not have any Catholic friends so most of the investigation was done alone. About the incorruptibles... the bodies of very holy people are sometimes found to decompose slowly or not at all. When this happens it seems to be a message from God that this is a special person we should honor and imitate
@ifollies Not physical bodies, obviously? Use a bit of common sense please! I believe in Jesus as one of the many teachers sent to put us on the right path. What has been said and done in his name since he moved on is an abomination, pure and simple. Jesus taught reincarnation until the hypocrites got together and decided it was anathema because it lessened their temporal powers on earth.
Or ever the silver cord be loosed, or the golden bowl be broken, or the pitcher be broken at the fountain, or the wheel broken at the cistern.
As for the rest, just read the history of your wonderful church and see for yourself all those misconstrued fallacies such as the inquisition, the crusades, the anti popes, etc. Jesus wasn't a cristain and you can't argue with that!
@beefking69er You will need to think about that one some more. So you ignored the bit about reincarnation because you had no answer. The crusades were started after a call to arms by the pope urban 2, and that's a historical fact.
There were dozens of antipopes but I can't post the link here.
And these are supposed to be God's chosen men? If Jesus came back tomorrow, I doubt he would be very impressed by the last 2000 years.
@beefking69er I certainly don't need your prayers. I am one of those people your church has persecuted for the last two thousand years my friend. We seek only to know the truth, and to be left alone to pursue that truth. I will not find it by praying to the tarted up bodies off deceased catholic priests. Sorry. The truth is elsewhere.
Good grief. Your church has been persecuting people for 2 thousand years my friend. There are none so blind as those who will not see.
You are mistaken: "Do what thou wilt shall be the whole of the Law." Alasteir Crowley. As for Satan; he is a creation of your church, my friend. He lives has has his being in chrisainity AFAIK. A Satanist, by definition, must therefore be a lapsed christain. I am indeed wary of all evil cults who try and lead people astray.for their own aggrandisement,
If you studied Crowley/satanism at all, you would realize they were huge enemies of the Catholic Church. In fact, their entire "ritual"(black mass) is a reversal of the catholic mass. An interesting factor if you are one who disregards Catholic tradition but acknowledges satanic vice.
@beefking69er I have studied most major religions. I have not made any particular study of Crowley. He was a clever fool IMHO, but he never harmed mankind as Your church has, I recommend you study Opus Dei and the jesuits. I don't disregard any dangerous cult. BTW I am a polymath, which doesn't equate to Satanism. The catholic church has a huge number of enemies on its' books. Not surprising though looking back. Even the Italian state was not recognised by the pope until 1925 or thereabouts.
@beefking69er You made my point for me. Satanism is of the catholic church, They are two side of a much warped coin. Thank you. The truth at last.
The Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith. Do you know what that is? It's the modern name for the inquisition. Did you know Hitler was brought up a catholic? Have you found out yet where my quotation comes from?
I agree with that. You will never learn to see beyond your own nose it seems. You can't answer my pertinent questions. Have a nice life. It won't be me who is earthbound by my warped beliefs when the time comes. I hope that one day the truth will somehow find it's way into your closed mind.
@1970000100 Nonsense. Your logic is flawed. A closed mind is one who can only see and hear what it wants to see and hear. An open mind is one who is evolving and always open to new truths as they are revealed to the seeker. I am not the person I was when I was ten. If you believe what you are told by the catholic church, then you might just as well believe in Santa Claus. Also your beliefs are regulated by what your religious leaders teach you ATP. I listen to my higher self for guidance.
@1970000100 There is little point in debating with such as you. If you were still able, no doubt I would be burning at the stake by now. You just carry on following your warped, twisted controlling religion and I will carry on seeking for the truth. Galileo, and many others, had the same problem. Oh, Galileo was a scientist, wasn't he? Perhaps he had a closed mind too when he stood in front of the inquisition? Could it possibly have been the other way around? Enjoy viewing your dead bodies.
@greenpenone Isn't Gallileo a dead body too ...except that his body is nothing but bones , whilst this saint look much the same as he did when alive ...And I will enjoy this dead body , because it confirms the truth of God ..
@Recordbhoy Galileo was an advanced soul who changed the course of human evolution in spite of your cult. He was proved right.( Your pope was wrong?) He's moved on. Who makes saints and popes, immans and ayatollahs, chief rabbis? Not God. Yes' you carry on enjoying your dead bodies. One day you may grow tired of such nonsense. God has nothing to do with your church. It's a man made structure. God is in you, not without, and you need no know nothing fool to tell you what to do. Look within.
@greenpenone Galileo is a dead soul ..He changed nothing , affected nothing , and he is now dead ..where all his life's work means less than a single prayer ..He's moved on all right .to hell .to dust ..I don't " enjoy " dead bodies but I marvel at God preserving them ..unlike Galileo .God created my church , God is within and without me . I need to look nowhere ..I accept ..as Padre Pio did ..who's body he preserved and who's soul is enjoying the highest of Heaven ..which you will never know
@Recordbhoy You are a fool with a closed mind. You have no answers to anything I say, you just ignore everything and spout off about your satan and your church. Your church will surely fall when people see through the nonsense. Just carry on on in your blind allegiance to a rotten institution. I have better things to do with my time. The earth revolves around the sun, not the rotten catholic church and it's rotten blind hypocritical paedophile priests who know nothing of God. Goodbye!
@greenpenone You are an imbecile .I ignore what you say because you speak shite .The church will never fall because it is built on the rock of Christ . I have allegiance to God though his church .You have nothing to do with your time except await death and damnation ..The earth revolves around the sun just as God intended it to ..and God revolves around the heart of man also , through his church on earth .as taught by his holy priests who carry Christ's message throughout the centuries
@Recordbhoy The truth of God, as proven by Galileo, yes indeed! Thank you. Your saint is just a pickled ex priest with no more moral right than anyone else. Except that he never moved humanity on one jot.
@greenpenone Padre Pio had more moral right than most people who ever lived ..He certainly did moved humanity ..he moved everyone he met towards God ..Who gives a monkeys fuck about telescopes ..what good are they now to Galilleo ..as he suffers for his sin ..as will you ..you imbecile.
@Recordbhoy Rubbish, he moved nobody but the fools who see only the warped teachings of their twisted cult. Swearing and insults aren't very holy, are they? I have an IQ of 143; does that make me the imbecile? Galileo has moved on. He was right and your hate filled pope was wrong. Perhaps they will stuff and mount you when you die? Me, I have no illusions concerning my physical body, I shall leave it behind to be recycled, while you will be earthbound, clinging to your warped beliefs. Good luck.
@greenpenone You're talking shite .. You can have an IQ of 1 million and still be an imbecile ..Galileo has moved on all right..to hell . And that " hate filled pope" ( you arsehole ) was only wrong about the earth, not about God ..As for me , I don't care what happens to my body , it's my soul I worry about ..as should you..and your illusions will be shattered all right ..the moment you die and stand before the God you rejected ..Hopefully he will despatch you to hell with Galileo
@Recordbhoy Galileo is a living soul, as is Hitler, Stalin and all the rest of those useless know nothing paedophile priests of yours. God is in us all. The only hell is the one you have created in your own mind. Man created your church, and ultimately, he will destroy it You are undoubtedly a fool with a closed mind who can't debate, but only come back with the same platitudes in a different wording. I never rejected God, I reject your puerile cult! You're not worth a moment more of my time.
@greenpenone Galileo is a dead soul ..You are not granted paradise for building telescopes you dumb fucking moron .This world of hell is one you created .Christ created the church and Pio was his greatest servant ..I reject you , you ignorant baboon ..and when God comes back , ( he's never been away ) he will exalt his church more than anything on earth , and he will do it with Padre Pio by his side ..Now piss off you reprobate ..run back to your master, the demon
@Recordbhoy You really are a sad case. Do you think mr pio approves of your behaviour? I doubt it. The only demon is the one rattling around inside your head. You've shown the world your true colours here. Say what you like. I have far better things to do than read your insane nonsensical dribblings. You can't debate, all you can do is use expletives time and time again when you realise you're out of your depth. I'm sure there's a tourrettes clinic some where who will take you in. Bye, loser.
@greenpenone Pio probably doesn't approve , but then, he's a saint in the highest heaven ..You have nothing better to do mate ..you're not in my league sonny boy ..I use expletives ( as you do ) to dismiss you in the same way I would whip a rabid dog into submission ..The dog is too thick and stupid to know he's a rabid dog ..so I just turn the stick on him , it's the only language he recognises ..Now run along little dog..your master Satan is rattling the leash ..go do his bidding little boy
@greenpenone Go fuck yourself you scum sucking prick ..Galileo is in the same hell you're destined for .As fod loving me , he loved his greatest servant on earth Padre Pio , more ..and Padre has brought millions of souls to him ..He is in the highest heaven right now , doing God's work ..And you can wish what you want , it doesn't change the greatness of what he is
@Recordbhoy Lost the plot have we? You ignorant know nothing lowlife. You can't beat the honest truth so you resort to expletives again. You really aint worth a spit pal, and nor is your pissy cult. AFAIK as I'm concerned, you can go to hell. It doesn't exist for me, and it never will. I'm going as far as my present state of spiritual evolution will allow me to go with an open mind. Take care now, jasus loves you.
@greenpenone No you've lost the ploy you scum sucking maggot .You wouldn't know honest truth if it bit your fat ass. If I'm not worth spit , then why are you here ? My " cult" has been around for 2000 years since Christ started it, and your gates of hell shall not prevail against it ..Hell will exist for you the moment you enter it ..and your " open mind" will be as much use to you as Darwin's collected works .. The only thing you will evolve into , is the demon you will soon become
@Recordbhoy I have just been given an insight ,how you wouldn't understand, into why you adhere so slavishly to your cult. It's obviously because you are terrified of going to that place you call hell. Tear yourself free from such superstitious claptrap for your own sake. That's how all cults control their members, with fear of reprisals. God loves you and has no desire to send you anywhere you don't wish to go. I'll say no more.
Good fatima devotons org . . I think You be supprised at what you will find . You will find that .You are not the only one who is dissapointed with the church .
So you insult people to fill your empty life. You believe in a lot of hocus pocus yourself such as third eye and astral projection. Don't throw stones from your glass house.
@Nachtjager I really don't have time for all these foolish comments. Where did I mention the third eye or astral projection? Obviously you have been reading up on it. Worried your church isn't telling the truth, are you? I know they aren't. At least your mind isn't completely closed. Keep on searching. I'm doing a study on the Gnostic gospels right now. Makes for some thought provoking stuff. Better than looking at some old stuffed body in a case anyway. That won't teach you anything,
That new age crap is all over your channel, all of your favorited videos are either 3rd eye or astral projection, now you're into "gnosticism" as if you've discovered the genre, oh yeah you're such a scholar, you petulant pompous cnut.
@Nachtjager I am a polymath you stupid stabard, and I couldn’t give a flying fig about you and your church of closed minds. I am not new age anything. I am an evolving spirit. I do know, however, all about the lies people like you have perpetuated over the last 2000 years. God doesn't ordain popes, or stuff dead bodies; only men perform such stupid idolatrous practises. Hopefully the next time the puff of smoke goes up that chimney will be the last ridiculous act of your church of hypocrisy.
wow you're so full of crap. I'm agnostic btw, I just give Christianity the place it deserve for making Western Civilization possible.Open you mind a tad more and hurl yourself from a tall building, you'll fly, you asshole.
@Nachtjager Obviously I was mistaken, you do have a closed mind. I don't recall claiming I discovered anything. How does that relate to petulance or pomposity? I am a humble servant of God. Not yours, obviously. I have news for you, the renaissance is over. You can no longer persecute people for dis obeying your know nothing priests. And you have no power to stop me studying whatever I wish to. Hypathia would be proud of me if she were here today. More's the pity she isn't.
6000+/- years of civilization and only you know who really god is and what's on his mind, and you say you're humble? On top of that you claim to be a polymath which is a term associated with 15th century Renaissance. I guess you're over XD.
Besides, why would I wish to stop an insect such as you? I'm just having fun. Why would Hypatia be proud of you? I think she would scrap the flesh from your bones with pottery shards for being called "idolater" by you.
@Nachtjager You'll never hold back human evolution with rubbish like that. I suggest that you do what you suggest I should do, better for the world methinks, Get back in your cave, you lugubrious troglodyte. I have better things to do with my time. If I wanted to listen to an ass hole, I would fart. Take a long walk off a short pier. You are obviously unfamiliar with the term polymath as well as being a complete cretin. BTW, I'm a Pagan FYI. Goodbye, you cupid stunt!,
roflmao! you just blew a fuse, that's what a petulant does. So you were just projecting, everything you said against other people it was really about you. So funny that the idolatrous pagan turned to be you, the troglodyte who believes discredited pagan crap, you know, lightning isn't Zeus taking a crap. Good riddance, you poor, deluded, petulant, pompous, ignorant, self-important fool.
@Nachtjager I don't recall blowing any fuse. All you do is take things out of context when you repeat them, and use expletives at the kindergarten level. It is difficult to find any rhyme or reason in your nonsensical hate filled outpourings. Debate isn't about using swear words and looking up words you don't understand so you can repeat them. I fought cxhristains who had the idea only their version of christainity was the right one. I don't do control freak religions of any kind.
@PatrickSmithPhD Thanks. I think I've shown up that cretin @rabidroy up for what he really is anyway. Can't debate for toffee, just spouting the same old rubbish over and over again while ignoring every single one of my main points, along with his steadily increasing use of expletives. The last resort of a moron. How about that? A loser with the debating skills of a stunned slug and a bad case of tourrettes into the bargain. So much for holiness and saintliness. Blinking cultists.
@Nachtjager It's you who should be worried. The islamists and christers have been trying to wipe Paganism out for 2000 years, but we're still here. But then again. I don't follow hate filled propaganda from either side, as you do. My mind is open. You really aren't worth another word, you miserable, arrogant hate filled lowlife scum bag. Carry on hating until you and those of your ilk bring the world you envisage into being. Write whatever crap you like. I have a life to live. I'm out of here.
@greenpenone - I would like to say, however, that you are severely mistaken on a number of issues. One of them being that humans are naturally inclined to believe in the supernatural and a great scheme or purpose of all living things. All humans are born this way and even those so strong against religion such as Richard Dawkin have such a strong desire for higher purpose that he professes to believe that there could be a creator's signature in our DNA strands. Not God but possibly something else
@PatrickSmithPhD The supernatural is a term for things man has yet to discover. Religion is hidebound and insists that there is only one way to God and you cannot diversify as each religion holds the truth. I would say that each religion knows a bit of the truth. People like myself need no religion to seek the truth as we believe God is within us all. When I look at some of the creatures posing as priests of various religions, they show me that is not the way I want to be.
India is a Pagan civilization:-) Traditional religion has held back man's evolution from what I have read in the history books. Fighting each other, and amongst themselves. Persecuting others for not following their religions. I have nothing against mr Pio. I imagine he was a decent man following his religion. I don't believe his body is incorrupt.. AS for his stigmata: The Romans crucified people with nails through the wrist. All christain stigmatics have wounds through their palms?
So if mr Pio's stigmata was through his palms, then it must make one wonder whether his subconscious mind had something to do with it? Harry Edwards was a good man too, without being a member of the catholic church. What constitutes a saint? Is it that you have to be a member of the right club? I would say that mer Pio was just a good man and leave it at that. I doubt he would have wanted his body treated in the manner it has been, although I don't know.
@greenpenone - Also, can you name a pagan civilization that has survived to the modern age? I can't recall one of the top of my head... God, or at least some form of higher purpose--be it in the form of traditional religion or not--, is directly conducive to increased productivity and success of civilization. Or so it seems. Please don't speak badly of St. Padre Pio... your position may have validity, but Padre Pio was a great man who worked a lot of good for a lot of people. Thanks.
@Nachtjager It looks like you have more than enough to do already hating the muslims without taking on new agers and free thinkers as well. Don't worry, my idolatrous friend, all of these man made religions will come crashing down before long. You only have to look at history. God didn't invent them, man did, and man is fallible. Hey, you haven't had a pop at the Jews yet.
No worries here, you'll pass away way before man-made religions bite the ground, and probably after all of Britain turns into an emirate. So sad your children are sold into prostitution, murdered and turned into kebabs, are sold afghan heroin, WWII veterans are mugged in ther homes and spat on on the streets, your flag is deemed racist and taken from flagpoles and lapels all over your country, thanks to Muslims. It's you who should be worried.
@Nachtjager Obviously you have a thing about hating muslims too, as well as anybody else who doesn't subscribe to your narrow minded views. You sad stabard!
@greenpenone Many people were brought up Catholic...so what? If one doesn't follow the teachings of the church then they are not in union with the church. The Catholic church was established by Jesus Christ. It is the only church he established that can trace it's history all the way back to St Peter. That's why Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter (meaning rock) on which he would build his church. Only a few times did God change a persons name in the bible to mean they would do something great.
@member250108 Here we go again. Jesus established no church. Jesus was a Jew. Read the history of your delightful church. Ignore all the pertinent questions that you nave no answer to. Spend the rest of your days ignoring the real truths staring you in the face, and worship exhumed bodies of men and women if you like. Like Pontius Pilate, I wash my hands of you. I seek the truth and it isn't to be found in the catholic church. The moneylenders are running the show. No doubt of that.
@member250108 Yes Jesus did this... but the church is no longer a christian church and hasn`t been for a long time. Albino Luciani (john paul I) tried to bring the church back to its poor christian roots, well just look what happened to him! Read the Bible, heed what it says, forget about saints and the adoration and worship of the mother of jesus, this is satan subtly leading people of faith astray. Please read and question everything. Read the book In Gods Name. Look at matthew 7:15
@tyronepat1 Yes, I have read several books about him. Seems like he was heading in the right direction. It also seems pretty obvious he was murdered before he could dismiss bishop daly and the rest of the crooks.. I understand that evil Markinkus character is still in the vatican, afraid to leave in case he is arrested by the Italian police. Looks like he made his own hell on earth? God's chosen, my a**e.
@tyronepat1 I always laugh when those of other faiths condemn the catholic church , especially when they cannot explain miracles like this .."it is the work of Satan" they bleat ..but knowing it can never be .. only God can do this ..and he did it because Pio was a servant of God
@Recordbhoy There are none so blind as those who don't wish to see. As I said before, Satan belongs to your church my friend. He doesn't exist in my world. The embalming of Mr pio is the work of man,as are all the other 1600 bodies. Enjoy! I just found out that pius 1x was the last pope to have an army. Good job they were defeated. Yes, he's been stuffed and placed on display too. How long before the polish pope gets the treatment?
@greenpenone And there are none so blind as you ..Satan has you by the ring on your nose..Padre Pio has been sanctified by God as have all the other saints ...Look and watch and marvel ...God's power manifested through his greatest servant ...
@MrDetwaa, in the Catholic tradition the body is important.
@psychosocialmarc hey im a christian and i dont believe that his body wud be healed by god but God exists. to clear up a fact faith and religion is not supernatural
@pftimcc If this scab man is a saint, What about Harry Edwards, the spiritualist? How come nobody in the catholic church wants to canonise him. His record speaks for itself. He helped thousands of people while he was alive. So who makes the saints? I'll tell you who, a select body of old men like the ones who elected a former Hitler youth follower as their leader. What utter nonsense! And, no, I'm not a spiritualist.
I think what alot of people get mix up about .....the catholic faith is that .....we dont pray to the saints to worship them we ask them to pray with us! all towards helping us get our prayers to jesus christ our father ....because we believe that the saints our with our father & can help our prayers be answerd but only for help.....they will be answerd when GOD our father feels the time is right to answer them!GOD bless and help those who are confused see the truth!!
Secular ideology has done far more evil than any religion in this world.
Pray for the continuation of the Church; don't anticipate its demise, because with it will come severe persecution with an end to objective morality and human liberty – (principles which formed the framework of western civilization).
@beefking69er The sooner the demise of your church the sooner people can leave this evil rubbish behind, the better for mankind. The persecution you talk about is from your glorious church. You brought us the crusades, the renaissance the Cathar massacres, the anti popes, the burning times, the inquisition, paedophile priests, etc. God is not with you, else it wouldn't take a load of old men sitting locked in a room to elect a new leader by puffing coloured smoke up a chimney now, would it?
@gigiwoe Sorry gigi but coming from a catholic perspective, as I have, catholicism ignores a lot of what the bible teaches because it has been mislead by satanic powers. John 14:6 Jesus answered " I am the way and the truth and the light, no one comes to the Father except through ME" Catholics, like Protestants and any other religion are just that, they are religions, religion is mans perception of God and therefore, all are corrupt and tainted by man and all of his agendas.
It is amazing that u 2 is born in the month of may me 2.the great difference is i am a sinner and u a are saint.please pray for me with the heavenly queen mother of my god.please give me the courage to send more people for confession.like i use to do !
those who pray for others to believe that these bodies are incorrupt is stupid we need to pray to God and all above to help those who are dying, those who are in deveolping countries who have hardly any food and no clean water, that is the most important thing to pray for. im a christian and i think that God has better things to do than to preserve the body of someone. until i have the chance to see that these are the real bodies upfront of these ppl then i will believe but until that day i wont
He has on a thin silicon mask. Yet he is in remarkable shape. The people that "prepared" John Paul II also di with Padre Pio.

@greenpenone. Watch in quest of the truth on national geographic. It was shown that crucifiction thru the hands was possible but also more torturous because of the nerve that travels thru the palm.

Feet on Block, nailed...ropes hold arms, nails through hands possible. Easiest way. Though bones would be more difficult.

1970000100 6 months ago
From the medical point of view, the stigmata cannot be considered as wounds or sores, because they do not heal even when treated," Dr. Silvestri explained. "They neither become infected nor do they decompose; they do not degenerate in necrosis, and do not exude a bad odor. They bleed and remain constant and unaltered for years, against all laws of nature."

This It the story of a freemason who became a believer thanks to Padre Pio
1970000100 6 months ago
He also reported the extraordinary conversion of his cousin, the lawyer Cesare Festa, former mayor of Arenzano of Genoa and one of the most eminent personalities in Ligurian Freemasonry.
1970000100 6 months ago
Dr. Festa had often described to his cousin his impressions of his visits to San Giovanni Rotondo. The doctor's opinions about Padre Pio's wounds, which were scientifically inexplicable, and his admiration for Padre Pio were often the cause of sharp arguments between the two cousins
1970000100 6 months ago
. One day, however, the lawyer Festa left for San Giovanni Rotondo. When he reached the monastery, he asked some of the friars about Padre Pio, who himself happened to be among them. Without waiting for the lawyer to introduce himself, Padre Pio walked over to him and, greeting him affably, said,
1970000100 6 months ago
You, Sir, have come among us, although you're a Freemason!"
The lawyer Festa, a bit astonished, answered frankly: "Yes, Father!"
"And what is your mission in Freemasonry?" Padre Pio asked him.
The lawyer, with the same frankness, answered: "To fight the Church from the political point of view."
1970000100 6 months ago
From Foggia, Dr. Festa received the following letter from his cousin:
I'm coming back from San Giovanni Rotondo and I'm on my way to Genoa. Allow me to embrace you and tell you with all the strength of my soul: thank you! You have opened for me a road I am going to follow
1970000100 6 months ago
I return with a profound sweetness in my soul, deeply moved and desiring silence, silence so that nothing may disturb my spirit.
In his account, Dr. Festa continues:
At Genoa, after this first episode, his life changed radically; he wanted to be in touch with the most enlightened priests of the city; he devoted himself to works of charity; he frequented the House of God assiduously, prayed, meditated...

Since 1960 we have seen the prophecy of the Third Secret unfold before our eyes, and it is clear that since that time the world has been progressively suffering from a terrible loss of faith.
1970000100 6 months ago
In 1984 Bishop Alberto Cosme do Amaral of Fatima confirmed that the Third Secret of Fatima is not about atomic war or the end of the world, but instead concerns the Catholic Faith, and specifically the loss of that Faith throughout (at least) Europe. (See quote in "Published Testimony: The Bishop of Fatima (September 10, 1984)".)

@1970000100Possible but not historically correct. Historically the Romans always, when not tying hands and feet, put the nails just above the wrist, between the two bones of the forearm (the radius and the ulna ) q: So why do stigmatics always have the wounds through their palms? A: because it's a mind thing, not a God thing. If it were of God, wouldn't the wounds appear where the Romans actually put the nails?

One of the reasons I don't understand religion or that I'm trying to understand it is because of this. Why would God heal a body when growing up all we hear is that once dead, the body doesn't matter. All that matters is the soul that goes up to God and the body is and becomes nothing. I don't believe this. I'd like to, but I just don't understand why it would heal AFTER he died.

MrDetwaa 9 months ago
When this happens it seems to be a message from God that this is a special person we should honor and imitate

greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone
There is no such thing as a "cristain".
"the inquisition, the crusades, the anti popes, etc".
The bloodiest of the crusades were led by Mohammad around 600 AD against Jews and Christians. The church took up arms to defend the faith.
Regarding the"anti popes".
Saint Peter denied Christ 3 times just hours after he said he never would.
Saint Paul murdered Christians before he converted.
These are men the church was founded on, mistakes were expected (we are only human).
beefking69er 7 months ago
@beefking69er You will need to think about that one some more. So you ignored the bit about reincarnation because you had no answer. The crusades were started after a call to arms by the pope urban 2, and that's a historical fact.
There were dozens of antipopes but I can't post the link here.
And these are supposed to be God's chosen men? If Jesus came back tomorrow, I doubt he would be very impressed by the last 2000 years.

If you studied Crowley/satanism at all, you would realize they were huge enemies of the Catholic Church. In fact, their entire "ritual"(black mass) is a reversal of the catholic mass. An interesting factor if you are one who disregards Catholic tradition but acknowledges satanic vice.
Hmm

@greenpenone
closed mind .
a closed Mind is one Based On Science alone . An Open Mind Is One which allows belief to Exist .
How Can a belief Exist In a closed Mind . its not possible .
1970000100 7 months ago
@1970000100 Nonsense. Your logic is flawed. A closed mind is one who can only see and hear what it wants to see and hear. An open mind is one who is evolving and always open to new truths as they are revealed to the seeker. I am not the person I was when I was ten. If you believe what you are told by the catholic church, then you might just as well believe in Santa Claus. Also your beliefs are regulated by what your religious leaders teach you ATP. I listen to my higher self for guidance.

@greenpenone
Typical arrogant Response . Then again This Proves You A closed mind .
1970000100 7 months ago
@1970000100 There is little point in debating with such as you. If you were still able, no doubt I would be burning at the stake by now. You just carry on following your warped, twisted controlling religion and I will carry on seeking for the truth. Galileo, and many others, had the same problem. Oh, Galileo was a scientist, wasn't he? Perhaps he had a closed mind too when he stood in front of the inquisition? Could it possibly have been the other way around? Enjoy viewing your dead bodies.
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone Isn't Gallileo a dead body too ...except that his body is nothing but bones , whilst this saint look much the same as he did when alive ...And I will enjoy this dead body , because it confirms the truth of God ..
Recordbhoy 7 months ago
@Recordbhoy Galileo was an advanced soul who changed the course of human evolution in spite of your cult. He was proved right.( Your pope was wrong?) He's moved on. Who makes saints and popes, immans and ayatollahs, chief rabbis? Not God. Yes' you carry on enjoying your dead bodies. One day you may grow tired of such nonsense. God has nothing to do with your church. It's a man made structure. God is in you, not without, and you need no know nothing fool to tell you what to do. Look within.
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone Galileo is a dead soul ..He changed nothing , affected nothing , and he is now dead ..where all his life's work means less than a single prayer ..He's moved on all right .to hell .to dust ..I don't " enjoy " dead bodies but I marvel at God preserving them ..unlike Galileo .God created my church , God is within and without me . I need to look nowhere ..I accept ..as Padre Pio did ..who's body he preserved and who's soul is enjoying the highest of Heaven ..which you will never know
Recordbhoy 7 months ago
@Recordbhoy You are a fool with a closed mind. You have no answers to anything I say, you just ignore everything and spout off about your satan and your church. Your church will surely fall when people see through the nonsense. Just carry on on in your blind allegiance to a rotten institution. I have better things to do with my time. The earth revolves around the sun, not the rotten catholic church and it's rotten blind hypocritical paedophile priests who know nothing of God. Goodbye!
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone You are an imbecile .I ignore what you say because you speak shite .The church will never fall because it is built on the rock of Christ . I have allegiance to God though his church .You have nothing to do with your time except await death and damnation ..The earth revolves around the sun just as God intended it to ..and God revolves around the heart of man also , through his church on earth .as taught by his holy priests who carry Christ's message throughout the centuries
Recordbhoy 7 months ago
@Recordbhoy The truth of God, as proven by Galileo, yes indeed! Thank you. Your saint is just a pickled ex priest with no more moral right than anyone else. Except that he never moved humanity on one jot.
greenpenone 6 months ago
@greenpenone Padre Pio had more moral right than most people who ever lived ..He certainly did moved humanity ..he moved everyone he met towards God ..Who gives a monkeys fuck about telescopes ..what good are they now to Galilleo ..as he suffers for his sin ..as will you ..you imbecile.
Recordbhoy 6 months ago
@Recordbhoy Rubbish, he moved nobody but the fools who see only the warped teachings of their twisted cult. Swearing and insults aren't very holy, are they? I have an IQ of 143; does that make me the imbecile? Galileo has moved on. He was right and your hate filled pope was wrong. Perhaps they will stuff and mount you when you die? Me, I have no illusions concerning my physical body, I shall leave it behind to be recycled, while you will be earthbound, clinging to your warped beliefs. Good luck.
greenpenone 6 months ago
@greenpenone You're talking shite .. You can have an IQ of 1 million and still be an imbecile ..Galileo has moved on all right..to hell . And that " hate filled pope" ( you arsehole ) was only wrong about the earth, not about God ..As for me , I don't care what happens to my body , it's my soul I worry about ..as should you..and your illusions will be shattered all right ..the moment you die and stand before the God you rejected ..Hopefully he will despatch you to hell with Galileo
Recordbhoy 6 months ago
@Recordbhoy Galileo is a living soul, as is Hitler, Stalin and all the rest of those useless know nothing paedophile priests of yours. God is in us all. The only hell is the one you have created in your own mind. Man created your church, and ultimately, he will destroy it You are undoubtedly a fool with a closed mind who can't debate, but only come back with the same platitudes in a different wording. I never rejected God, I reject your puerile cult! You're not worth a moment more of my time.
greenpenone 6 months ago
@greenpenone Galileo is a dead soul ..You are not granted paradise for building telescopes you dumb fucking moron .This world of hell is one you created .Christ created the church and Pio was his greatest servant ..I reject you , you ignorant baboon ..and when God comes back , ( he's never been away ) he will exalt his church more than anything on earth , and he will do it with Padre Pio by his side ..Now piss off you reprobate ..run back to your master, the demon
Recordbhoy 6 months ago
@Recordbhoy You really are a sad case. Do you think mr pio approves of your behaviour? I doubt it. The only demon is the one rattling around inside your head. You've shown the world your true colours here. Say what you like. I have far better things to do than read your insane nonsensical dribblings. You can't debate, all you can do is use expletives time and time again when you realise you're out of your depth. I'm sure there's a tourrettes clinic some where who will take you in. Bye, loser.
greenpenone 6 months ago
@greenpenone Pio probably doesn't approve , but then, he's a saint in the highest heaven ..You have nothing better to do mate ..you're not in my league sonny boy ..I use expletives ( as you do ) to dismiss you in the same way I would whip a rabid dog into submission ..The dog is too thick and stupid to know he's a rabid dog ..so I just turn the stick on him , it's the only language he recognises ..Now run along little dog..your master Satan is rattling the leash ..go do his bidding little boy

Take care now, jasus loves you.

The only thing you will evolve into , is the demon you will soon become
Recordbhoy 6 months ago
@Recordbhoy I have just been given an insight ,how you wouldn't understand, into why you adhere so slavishly to your cult. It's obviously because you are terrified of going to that place you call hell. Tear yourself free from such superstitious claptrap for your own sake.

If I wanted to listen to an ass hole, I would fart. Take a long walk off a short pier. You are obviously unfamiliar with the term polymath as well as being a complete cretin. BTW, I'm a Pagan FYI. Good riddance, you poor, deluded, petulant, pompous, ignorant, self-important fool.
Nachtjager 7 months ago
@Nachtjager I don't recall blowing any fuse. All you do is take things out of context when you repeat them, and use expletives at the kindergarten level. It is difficult to find any rhyme or reason in your nonsensical hate filled outpourings. Debate isn't about using swear words and looking up words you don't understand so you can repeat them. I fought cxhristains who had the idea only their version of christainity was the right one. I don't do control freak religions of any kind.

@PatrickSmithPhD Thanks. I think I've shown up that cretin @rabidroy up for what he really is anyway. I'm out of here.
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone - I would like to say, however, that you are severely mistaken on a number of issues. One of them being that humans are naturally inclined to believe in the supernatural and a great scheme or purpose of all living things. All humans are born this way and even those so strong against religion such as Richard Dawkin have such a strong desire for higher purpose that he professes to believe that there could be a creator's signature in our DNA strands. Not God but possibly something else
PatrickSmithPhD 6 months ago
@PatrickSmithPhD The supernatural is a term for things man has yet to discover. Religion is hidebound and insists that there is only one way to God and you cannot diversify as each religion holds the truth. I would say that each religion knows a bit of the truth. People like myself need no religion to seek the truth as we believe God is within us all. When I look at some of the creatures posing as priests of various religions, they show me that is not the way I want to be.
greenpenone 6 months ago
India is a Pagan civilization:-) Traditional religion has held back man's evolution from what I have read in the history books. Fighting each other, and amongst themselves. Persecuting others for not following their religions. I have nothing against mr Pio. I imagine he was a decent man following his religion. I don't believe his body is incorrupt.. AS for his stigmata: The Romans crucified people with nails through the wrist. All christain stigmatics have wounds through their palms?
greenpenone 6 months ago

1970000100 6 months ago
So if mr Pio's stigmata was through his palms, then it must make one wonder whether his subconscious mind had something to do with it? Harry Edwards was a good man too, without being a member of the catholic church. What constitutes a saint? Is it that you have to be a member of the right club? I would say that mer Pio was just a good man and leave it at that. I doubt he would have wanted his body treated in the manner it has been, although I don't know.
greenpenone 6 months ago
@greenpenone - Also, can you name a pagan civilization that has survived to the modern age? I can't recall one of the top of my head... God, or at least some form of higher purpose--be it in the form of traditional religion or not--, is directly conducive to increased productivity and success of civilization. Or so it seems. Please don't speak badly of St. Padre Pio... your position may have validity, but Padre Pio was a great man who worked a lot of good for a lot of people. Thanks.
PatrickSmithPhD 6 months ago
@Nachtjager It looks like you have more than enough to do already hating the muslims without taking on new agers and free thinkers as well. Don't worry, my idolatrous friend, all of these man made religions will come crashing down before long. You only have to look at history. God didn't invent them, man did, and man is fallible. Hey, you haven't had a pop at the Jews yet.
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone
Nachtjager 7 months ago
@Nachtjager Obviously you have a thing about hating muslims too, as well as anybody else who doesn't subscribe to your narrow minded views. You sad stabard!
greenpenone 7 months ago
@greenpenone Many people were brought up Catholic...so what? If one doesn't follow the teachings of the church then they are not in union with the church. The Catholic church was established by Jesus Christ. It is the only church he established that can trace it's history all the way back to St Peter. That's why Jesus changed Simon's name to Peter (meaning rock) on which he would build his church. Only a few times did God change a persons name in the bible to mean they would do something great.
member250108 7 months ago
@member250108 Here we go again. Jesus established no church. Jesus was a Jew. Read the history of your delightful church. Ignore all the pertinent questions that you nave no answer to. Spend the rest of your days ignoring the real truths staring you in the face, and worship exhumed bodies of men and women if you like. Like Pontius Pilate, I wash my hands of you. I seek the truth and it isn't to be found in the catholic church. The moneylenders are running the show. No doubt of that.

greenpenone 7 months ago
@member250108 Yes Jesus did this... but the church is no longer a christian church and hasn`t been for a long time. Albino Luciani (john paul I) tried to bring the church back to its poor christian roots, well just look what happened to him! Read the Bible, heed what it says, forget about saints and the adoration and worship of the mother of jesus, this is satan subtly leading people of faith astray. Please read and question everything. Read the book In Gods Name. Look at matthew 7:15

It also seems pretty obvious he was murdered before he could dismiss bishop daly and the rest of the crooks.. @tyronepat1 I always laugh when those of other faiths condemn the catholic church , especially when they cannot explain miracles like this .."it is the work of Satan" they bleat ..but knowing it can never be .. only God can do this ..and he did it because Pio was a servant of God
Recordbhoy 7 months ago
@Recordbhoy There are none so blind as those who don't wish to see. As I said before, Satan belongs to your church my friend. He doesn't exist in my world. @MrDetwaa, in the Catholic tradition the body is important.

Secular ideology has done far more evil than any religion in this world.
Pray for the continuation of the Church; don't anticipate its demise, because with it will come severe persecution with an end to objective morality and human liberty – (principles which formed the framework of western civilization).
beefking69er 7 months ago
@beefking69er The sooner the demise of your church the sooner people can leave this evil rubbish behind, the better for mankind. The persecution you talk about is from your glorious church. You brought us the crusades, the renaissance the Cathar massacres, the anti popes, the burning times, the inquisition, paedophile priests, etc. God is not with you, else it wouldn't take a load of old men sitting locked in a room to elect a new leader by puffing coloured smoke up a chimney now, would it?
greenpenone 7 months ago
@gigiwoe Sorry gigi but coming from a catholic perspective, as I have, catholicism ignores a lot of what the bible teaches because it has been mislead by satanic powers. John 14:6 Jesus answered " I am the way and the truth and the light, no one comes to the Father except through ME" Catholics, like Protestants and any other religion are just that, they are religions, religion is mans perception of God and therefore, all are corrupt and tainted by man and all of his agendas.
