  • What is this? Ziltoid's baby story? ;D

  • @Dax331 Not sure, I didn't hear anything about Coffee deprivation in the lyrics ;)

  • I strongly recommend watching: ring of power, viberation creates form, behold a pale horse, 2012 enigma, Jim Marrs the 4th reich, the polarity matrix field, Graham Hancock - Quest for the Lost Civilization ,Red Ice TV - Episode 4 - Symbolism in Logos, Indigenous Native American Prophecy, Michael Badnarik's Constitution Class 1 of 43, Consuming Kids:The Comercialisation of Children, Fluoride Deception Part 1, Are You a Sovereign Yet...

  • When people ask me why I don't want children, I tell them to listen to this.

  • @ShingoEX truthfully, its no excuse, you have no excuse, you just plainly dont want them.

  • @ShingoEX I always took this song to be about domineering douchebag men in relationships not children

  • @ShingoEX shit ur parents mustve sucked

  • this song is about his mom...

  • Always have loved this song. Mike Patton is a Fk'n Musical Genius

  • an epic song that will move me and haunt me till i'm diggin the grave.

  • ;actually, this is about babies. this is a baby's perspective view.

  • @riotsonicdude24

This song is polysemic actually and that was the intention of Mr. Patton, which is sick and awesome at the same time.

  • this song is about childhood neglect

  • that is a fucking twist.

every listen approves its a hell of a song

  • my second child was conceived to this album.. my first to a doors album. point being fnm is music to get laid. i love this band.

  • MIKE PATTON i genius :)

  • I love this song but i like the band Ill Nino version better.

  • @snoopyFTW13

    stupidity should hurt. Thank you.

  • I thought this was about babies being a parasite?

  • @GreatTeacherCAW

So did I to be honest.

like Mike always says though : It more about how it sounds rather than what it is

  • check out Papa Baloo (pAh leeEze!!) for some more funky music made by honkees.. support new funk or be doomed to the radio

  • Mike's lyrics are brilliant, especially in this one. They teeter the line between intelligent and sarcastic and over-exaggerated.

  • ive been on to babies since they did this ..that they run mom just to see if they can push their buttons. exactly why you should show you baby the my baby can read dvds stuie is right

  • Killer riffs, keys and drums, and of course Patton

  • been surfing round pootube looking at proper music I used to be into, keeps getting better. simon cowell and all his shit wank talentless media wanks need to take 2 in the head. Proper music where people are in bands and do it all for themselves not like all the manufactured WANK there is now. FUCK. faith no more. excellent.

  • @Bettlebonnet

Calm down, man. Calm down! It'll all be okay. Take your pills... Shh...shhh... That's right...everything's going to be alright... It's still the 80's, Justin Bieber doesn't exist, Queensryche, Aerosmith, Faith No More and Def Leppard are still what's hot, and Van Halen's still lord and master.

  • @ianmcu aaaaaargh! nnneed TP for my bunghole...... lol

  • still gives me chills!!

  • It's art, it's whatever you want it to be about.

  • A baby zombie?

  • @swifthawkz

    xDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD asshole

  • The contrast between the beginning and the ball twisting section is just pure musical genius. Faith No More are the elites of a style of music which never grew to heights it should have but a dedicated fan base still keeps it alive.

  • This is my favorite Faith No More song ever. I just love it, and how it "tricks" you from starting out as a ballad, and then...BOOM! there it goes! I can play it over and over and never tire of it.

  • Stewie griffen should sing this to is mother.

  • Damn! I realy think Ill niño does it A LOT better!

It's diffrent, sure,... But the Ill niño version makes me cry,... this one makes me,.... fall asleep

  • @GetXoverXhim fukk away man!!suckk off please.ill nino for sure are a thousand times more emotional.(iv 99% nothing against them.except the emotional stuff...)but without this song..remember.. you wouldnt have A reason to let your precious tears fall.. .. ..

  • @zumbi515

    First of all,... I'm female!

And, I don't get your problem,... Did I say anything offensive?

I never called this song bad, or this band,....

All I said is I prefer the version from Ill niño !

  • @GetXoverXhim xHim!!girl!! you have to understand that this is an open discussion..and above all. i really dont have any problem.not with you..and not with anyone. it was you who seeking a slap in the face just to be reminded that as you prefer the copy of Ill Nino.. me.. I have my problems. with this original production.

so..talking about sleep!?!????hellyeah girl!!i wanna fall in the deepest sleep but full of everything.and.nothing perheaps..

as it seems you arent a fan. and you dont know FNM.

  • @zumbi515 I agree. it is better. GetXoverXhim is a lonely sad bitter guy who lashes out with verbal abuse at strangers who remind him why his precious tears fall because his boyfriend left him..... for a woman.

  • @19gonzaga99 whoooo.. jackie!!she s a girl(i think so...just..) and ..why the hell u turn it in a muddy discussion faaar faar from music related.and anything related .

even why your version could be possible...

  • @zumbi515 I don't like people who cuss and swear at people. But if you ladies have made up and apologized, then I was out of line for backing you when you can take care of yourself and don't want it. If people make outrageous comments, I will call them on it. Obviously I was too sarcastic.

  • @19gonzaga99 goodfella.! it seems we can quite understand at least the others words.

remember. This is the gentle Art of maKing enemies.

fuccck ill nino!! this is ZOMBIE EATERS!!!!!!!!!!and noone and no word can say more about this song than what is gives by itself.

who loves it loves it.who dont can continue with their pathetic crys

  • I'm a machine...

    I need my toys...

  • YOU ALL NEED TO LITEN TO 'JUST A MAN' ITS EPIC

  • @CookieMONSTERisFULL yeah you're right

  • never knew what this song was about, but just reading comments, makes sense-thanks all!

  • thank you

  • awesome song so much feeling

  • please tell me what does the title means when the lyrics is about a baby's view for his mother, how does zombie eater comes in?

  • @74gore

"Zombie eater" is a description of a "baby" in general.

A mindless eater... And rather negatively viewed of course.

  • @74gore Jim Martin wrote the song and gave it already a title before Mike wrote the lyrics and they left it the way it was. Mike even said that the titles sometimes don't make any sense, because they were just working titles. But in this case it seems to fit pretty well.

  • @namelessguy93

idk, because first i thought "zombie eater" its gotta be a pretty brutal song and then i hear this song about a baby's vision of his/her mother, so im pretty stuck up. but i think AbsurdLawrence's got a point

  • 2:01.. wow!

for now he has the most amazingest voice in the world

  • Comment removed

  • gotta use lotta salt when ya eat em

  • love this song and the lyrics, it just makes sense :)

  • Mike Patton, weak? Are you completely brain dead?

  • gaaaaay

  • The song is a new-born baby singing to its mother. Read or listen to the lyrics you morons!!! Hysterical!!!!!!

  • @radicaleffect these people who exegetically derive their own meanings from faith no more songs are retarded. clearly about a baby if you read the lyrics.

  • ...one of best FNM song ever...

    simply fantastic!!!!

ciao gente , Up FNM from Italy.

  • Unfortunately, Ill Niño gives more power to the interpretation of the song. In the voice of this FAITH NO MORE singer sounds like weak and boring. NO OFFENSE TO ANYONE is just a humble comment

  • @hshiram u suxx dude.. ill niño suxx =) this is perfect.. =)

  • @hshiram calling mike patton weak is just heresy

  • @hshiram Ill Nino singer sounds horrible. So fake effect shit. That's just pathetic. Changing his shitass voice with effects to sound "good". NO OFFENSE LOLOLOL

  • i actually like the ill nino cover for it better.

  • FNM was way ahead of their time. However, I've loved this band since for like 22 years now. Damn did I just say that, I'm old.

  • @Wobbls I've liked this band for approximately 13 years and 2 weeks. Yep, started listening when i was 3 :)

  • @Wobbls

well gramps move your walker over i need to sit down and rest my knees too...

The Real Thing was one of my first albums i ever bought....when it was released in 1989...damn we're old

  • @Evilatem First CD I ever purchased. Before this it was all tapes and vinyl =)

  • @ceche...

  • I'm helpless - Im flawless - Im a machine - goddamn those are crazy and great lyrics Patton is the fuckin man

  • Hammer Lied! Eines meiner Lieblingslieder von Faith no More! Auch auf der" Real Thing Platte" drauf!

  • about an addictive relationship..... best description ever.

  • @jeffsbored13 i kinda felt the same about it, glad to see someone finally shares that feeling :)

  • @deviantmuffin been there, done it.

  • @deviantmuffin kind of over dependent??

  • @Smeds2008 well... you know that feeling when everything seems pointless and f.ed up, yet there's this one person who somehow still makes sense and reaches up above the pile of crap you're drowning into ? in times like those i realize how zombie i am about my lover

  • @deviantmuffin

    You, sir, are amazing.

  • @deviantmuffin Dude the song is about a baby haha

  • my dad played this song for me two weeks ago saying "this is for you and your kid" because im pregnant.

  • I love the arpeggio in this song.

  • HOPEFULLY THEY WILL PLAY THIS SONG ON JULY 2ND WILLIAMSBRIDGE WATER FRONT, A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME TO SAY ONE OF MY FAVORITE BAND OF ALL TIME

  • This song reminds me of living colour a lot. The way he wines/sings around 2:50, makes me think of the album Vivid. Very cool either way!

  • :O xD

  • you are right about Mike being great about his fans. We went to see him on the 'Angel Dust Tour' in Queenstown, New Zealand and they went all out. Mike went out into the audience. I got his hat and another of my friends got his microphone. When security leapt in to the rescue, he told them to fuck off. Awesome gig

  • @mossyra Yeah, saw them on the Angel Dust Tour as well, in Germany. Absolutely crazy shit, one of the most memorable concerts!

  • @mossyra i was there too. but i also went to the epic tour at auckland town hall which was my favourite. at one point he staggered around the stage for a bit then climbed up the huge stack of speakers and when he got to the top he spewed over the crowd. hillarious!!!

mr bungle was awesome band too

  • Mike Patton : 2'19 - 2'23

Me : yes, we are ! thanks man, you're great !

  • Nizhoni

  • The sickest thing in the history of music is @ the 4:51 mark.....

  • yeahhhhhThis is an amazing song!!!!

  • This is an amazing song. They are amazing live and so full of talent, they are truly awesome artists and I met mike and he is great to his fans

  • great

  • I just freaking love this song.

  • Patton is the greatest male vocalist of or time. everything he touches or creates turns to gold

  • One of my favourite songs as a parent. I think its more about the moments when the responsibility of care threatens to overwhelm you, hence the slightly creepy orchestral score that almost acts as a warning. Patton was maybe being a bit tongue-in-cheek singing from the baby's perspective, but he came up with a song that perfectly portrays the sometimes ugly truth that is the stressful side of parenting. One of the best songs on the human condition ever made (tongue-in-cheek or not)

  • Shivers all over straight trough the bones.

    Fcking fantastic creepy sound

  • Such a great song

  • perfect intro!!

  • there would be no ill nino without fnm :D 2cents

  • a total ass-kickin

  • Oh my, takes me 20 years back ...

    100/5

  • after all these years and the events in my life and the people that have come in and out, or even kicked me out. There is still the music. Perhaps Jim Morrison was correct. Music IS your only friend to the end.

  • @'headofbab long live insest you freek..fnm came or cum in your mamas belly warmers..long live fnm

  • back in '91 when I was 15 it was the first group that moved me and I said "hey, that's strong shit"

    down with FNM ever since

  • FNM got me throught some rough times as a kid. This song is the shiznit.

  • @trnqlChaos hell right bubba, I am almost 30 just out of prison and fnm is still getting me by just like back in the 90s

  • thats great...i appreciate the 90's as well...rock on bro

  • Mein absolutes Lieblingslied von Faith no more! Einfach genial und wunderbar!!!
