  • Thanks a lot. The best rendered and designed cube I have seen and I learned a lot watching this!

  • Amazing video. As a blender Newbie trying to learn tricks, this helps a lot. Thanks :)

  • Thanks for this. This was one of the best tutorials I found on the internet in a very long while :)

  • "Shitf" - this key is truly missing from every decent computer!!! (1:29min)

  • @gummiint ahahahah After I posted the video I remember wandering if anyone would ever notice that. :)

  • Thanks a lot for this excelent tutorial!

  • @FunkyVerb Holding Ctrl+Alt will allow you to select an Edge Ring when you click an edge.

  • I didn't know about "To Sphere" before, thanks! By the way, in 2.5 it's Shift + Alt + S

  • @AminKAMSC Thx for the tip. I'm not very good at 2.5 yet. :D

  • i've got some problems when aligning the faces to a circle's vertice

i can note the cursor doesn't transform in a little circle as yours when pressing ctrl. it changes the way the faces move (D: 0 to 1.00... or -1.00...) but doesn't align them to anything. as i said, the cursor doesn't change either.

have any idea about what i'm doing wrong?

  • @UnbreakableFilly Sorry I'm so late... I believe I created an annotation for this, but I dunno for sure anymore...

Anyway I forgot to point that out in the video itself. First you have to turn on the Snaping Tool by pressing [Shift]+[Tab] or by clicking on Its icon in the 3D view header. It's the little Magnet icon (to the right of the layer buttons). Then you can use Ctrl to snap/align selections to vertices.

    Cheers
