Eh by the time the second one came, that hyena was already a goner. Anyway the only reason this "poor little hyena" is in that situation is most likely because they got too close to the lions (to scavenge or whatever). They need to learn their place, especially with male lions around.

Hyenas arent as bad as everyone thinks- there is plenty of evidence that shows that hyenas normally make their own kills, but they then get stolen by lion prides.
