I only played Oblivion but damn this looks more creepy. More gore and the sound effects are scarier. Well, there are alot less sound effects but still. And its funny to hear that many of the sounds are similar in IV and daggerfall.
Took me forever to beat this game............you get good at running the dungeons though. they are all built using large pre-made blocks. Quest items are normally placed in special locations within one of the blocks. Fun game anyways. The new ones don't have all the massive dungeons that were so scary to run through.
Hmm...the music seems to be like the problem I have with the game. The weird thing is, it starts working when I have a midi open in Windows Media Player.
i need help playing this game. I play it with dosbox and ive been able to play daggerfall and all but im stuck in the first cave because i cant use the attack button(swing weapon) ive tried everything from changing the controls but default or not whatever button i map to attack it wont do it. can someone help me? so i could get on with the game please!
Its hard to get out of the dungeon with a minor class like battlemage or even thief. It requierds a lot of try and error.. but after some level ups the game makes lot of fun!

@monster0n1 Try looking in the options and controls. From memory, I believe its Page Up and Page Down Keys, or Home/End.

You should be able to run it. I believe Daggerfall came out in 1996? and available emulators allow newer computers to run it.
