The video is trying to convey that women, who are, by nature, nurturing, can effect much more profound change in this environment than men, who are by nature hunter, gatherers, and procreaters.
Women in third world countries have proven to spend money with a greater eye for the future than men. Foremost is the well-being of their children, which includes health and education. The message is: give women education and resources and there will be exponential benefits.
This reminds me a little of that South Park 'step 3: profit' thing. It's not as blatant, of course, but it does seem to ridiculously smooth over and skip some issues along the way. So call me thick, but what exactly is the core take-away message here? That women's intuition will provide the third way between capitalism and socialism? Look, I'm not trying to belittle what they're saying. I'm just trying to figure out WHAT they're saying (behind all the cool animation).
There seems to be some confusion regarding this video. It is not stating that women are somehow more valuable than men; rather, it is about helping young girls in impoverished nations where women lack rights and respect because they are considered to be below men. By educating these girls, they are enabled to difference in their communities and, in turn, the world.
And how the thing that can save the world is not science
Think little bit about your life what's is the thing that made your life easier. Its science pen with it you can write your ideas table on which you can eat, write and do many other things. cellphone computer car plane. all those things have made life better. This whole video is just plain silly and lost any credibility it tried to have with artsy presentation at 0:27
I have no clue what this video is trying to convey. Is it that women should be treated as more valuable than men? That educating a girl will save the world?
@Tetrath It probably means that girls should get the same opportunities as boys in "developing" countries (reasonable so far, at least theoretically). By... buying a cow, apparantly. This can only be achieved by taking away her child and magically making the poverty she lives in disappear (and killing her ALWAYS evil and repressive husband). And then, indeed, the world is saved. Yes, it's that simple! ... wait, what?

Personally, I think buying a cow as a first time investment is rather silly. I mean you don't even have a field.
