I was GREATLY saddened to hear,only this week,of Jimmy's passing.We became good friend when he moved in to his sisters house,next door,in salford.He went back to Ireland and we lost touch.Often wondered what he was doing,then,got his phone number off his cousin and spoke once,a while back.tried a couple of times later but it was "number not recognized".if anyone can, could you please pass on my DEEPEST condolences to his family,the world is a much poorer place for his going,a lovely, lovely man

I have this on DVD got it for christmas a few years ago and I didn't know at the start of this that its' Jimmy playing with Christy. I thought it was Jimmy McCarthy at the time.

Excellent guitar work and singing. I seen a clip on here of Christy playing Lisdoonvarna in this sort of environment i.e. sitting down in a room or very small studio with another and he got carried away with the chords and then does a short interview afterwords.....absolutely brilliant. Where can I get this footage or is it on the Uncoverd DVD. If it is I gotta get.
