@vaggos7kats There are almost complete skeletons of T-rex (Just a few bones missing actually), and what they tell us is they are up to 40-44 ft long, 14-16 feet high, and weigh at 7-9 tons. Unfortunately, given the ecosystem, there were bigger theropods.

@vaggos7kats: yeah, but I mean even if Rex's evidence wasn't 100% completed, we have even less evidence from Carcharodontosaurus. Remember, Rex was discovered by Barnum Brown in 1900, and since then there were many others. "Sue", the best T.Rex skeleton ever found, is really quite complete! We don't have that luxury with C.saharicus. Most of the original finds in 1927 were destroyed in WW II, and new bones were only found in 1995. So, lack of evidence shouldn't be an issue here.

@vaggos7kats: it is unique, yes. The jaw power of the Rex is remarkable among all Theropods. However, evidence are indeed pointing to the direction that both Giganotosaurus and Carcharodontosaurus were bigger than Rex. However, bigger doesn't mean they're better. In fact, I don't think any of them is superior or inferior to one another. They were designed differently to fit their hunting methods. The important thing was that these methods worked.

They have never found a Spinosaurus skeleton more than 33 feet long! biggest Tyrannosaur was 42 feet! making it bigger. by a LOT

@Dasunmorgenstern they have, they found several spino skeletens 50+ ft in length, the 33 foot spino is a juvinile, do your research, the average t-rex is about 36-40 feet in length, the biggest is 42 but the average is 38 :) research research research kid

@ICDAWORLD The maximum size of Spinosaurus is greater than any known T-rex. It is true that no complete skeleton has been found which is larger than the largest T-rex found but the fossils of large Spinosaurs that have been found are of a dinosaur that is larger than T-rex more importantly they were still growing. But in the end WHO CARES WHICH IS BIGGER?! They would have never met and so this argument is POINTLESS and enjoy the awesome Dinosaurs and enough with the childish point-scoring.

@ICDAWORLD they have found several INCOMPLETE skeletons, the growth of the spine suggests that the back of spino needed to be at least 20ft to fit the spine on its back, so if the mid section is 20ft, and the head and neck combined is 7ft, and some parts of the tail vertebrae were estimated to be 3ft means that the tail needed to be at least 20ft to balance its massive body, so the spino bones say that it was 47ft (7+20+20). AND if you add all the muscles and skin it would be around 50ft

i have two notes to the creators of this movie: their heads were bigger actually and predatory dinosaurs didn't use their heads like this. theropods attacked with teeth and claws.

It's remarkable to me that people are so bent out of shape on which is "the best" carnivorous dinosaur. Each species was adapted to it's niche or region; "perfect" for the area in which it lived. It really doesn't matter who would win or which is better - they are all incredible in their own ways.

The animals and most of the landscape look positively gorgeous, but there is no need for the shaky-cam effect and speeding up the movements to such a ridiculous degree. Not only does it detract from the show, it also feels unprofessional and just gives more ground for these "durr and hurr WWD luked 1000000x better, you suk BBC" people to complain.

In episode 3 and 4, there were times when I couldn't even tell just what the heck was going on because the virtual cameraman was having a seizure.
