I started on flush the fashion and from the inside when I finished high school in 86. I went down to the second hand store and bought all the others recordings they had and ordered the rest. I still own every cassette from his first till raise your fist and yell. I then got CD's and now I'll download everything ever created through demonoid before the government crawls up their ass.
This lp was my introduction. Killer memories of that era in my life come to the fore when I hear this. Crazy how music can time-travel your central nervous system. Fucking nuts.
awesome! any chance you could upload the rest of this killer album? :D i have it on an old cassette somewhere in my attic and never got around to buying it again :S
i played this at full throttle while my fiance brought her boyfriend into our house and made out with him in 1981. searing, ripping, tearing, horrible, unspeakable pain. thank you Alice for a way to express the betrayal and tearing inside.
My first concert was Alice Cooper / Billy Squire at Joe louis in Detroit! all of 13 and learning Coop and to this day I have seen him live over twenty times! Always and forever a Coop fan, and Tony Nichols Mar. 14th 1966 - Feb. 25th 2011, Coop's biggest fan!
I first listened to this record on vinyl, and I was enthralled from the GET-GO! Unfortunately, a bad needle (which obliterated the track), unwillingness to pay for another copy, and lack of prescence on youtube caused me to forget about this song. Never again... great tune, thank you for uploading this. Owe ya one!
@Ivantheterrible666 I baught this album when it first came out on vinyl also...I saw him on that tour. Seen him 3 times live. '79 '80 and once with Rob Zombie just a few years ago.
I spent a couple hours listening to a LOT of good AC songs today. More great songs than anyone I can think of . I thought I was the only person who bought some albums like Lace and Whiskey, much less liked 4-5 songs on them. From the Inside was another great album. Wish I were born in Beverly Hills, Millie and Billie, Serious. I can't count how many songs I like from AC, and I didn't buy any of his albums for quite a while. Leaves me some new stuff to dig up.... :)
From The Inside was pretty good. I prefer his early albums, they were so good. Pretties For You, Easy Action, Love It To Death... all great. Everything up to the mid 90's was awesome.
@ArturoVandelay I liked this album a lot actually, in my younger years it was one of my favorites. Pretty under-rated in my opinion. Sure it might not be his *best*, but it is still better than everything after "The Last Temptation"

some of the best lyrics ever, Walt Whitman himself couldn't convey the subject matter any better.

Great lyrics, good vocals, decent music. Not his best album, but this was worth it.
