Why are action sports journalists/commentator always some guy that has no clue? A guy that generally sits behind a desk and has never had the balls to do something that involves channeling adrenaline. They just have no clue.
WOW just compare this downhill Longboarding (crappy speed tucks, mad wobbles, almost straight tracks) with todays ( predrifting, freeriding, small groms shredding etc. ) !! amazing how much longboarding progresses !
@psych0p4t3 yes, like today all the racers are more humble and arent always about winning but are just there because its fun, its not all about wins and losses, just about going fast and getting pitted
I remember seeing this on tv! Seeing that came at just the right time where I started longboarding and if it weren't for this coverage I wouldn't be dropping every cent I have to spare on travelling for downhilling! Thank you for posting this!

47 mph was almost unheard of then, now I literally know 17 year olds that get that speed. Props to these guys though, definitely
