I was at the concert on the 6th when she was singing this and it was fantastic - one of the many highlights of the show - I would imagine the DVD and CD versions will have much better sound for the naysayers!!

This version is horrid. It is almost as if a zombie or a vampire or some other souless being is singing this song. She just doesn't have the emotion behind the words. I will admit that it was mostly unlistenable to me and I had to skip large parts of it for fear I would destroy my computer just to stop the horror and pain she was inflicting on me. The original is one of my very favorite songs and you can hear Thoms voice cracking and at the brink of tears.

There were 3 nights of shows. Tweedy sang it on night 1 & 3, Tunstall on night 2.

Whoa. I'm SO glad I went on the 2nd night. Not only is KT frickin amazing, but it's a fantastic song...

I reeeally hope they filmed this for a dvd. (It would make sense, right?)

The 3rd night was definitely being filmed for DVD. Whether it's a standalone or a bonus disc with the forthcoming album they recorded at Neil Finn's studio I don't know. And maybe the other 2 nights were also being filmed.

The previous "7 World's Collide" DVD from 2001 was a composite of performances from different nights.
