  • That backfire...

  • This was a fuel tank jettison test of a pre- production F-18. A-4 pilot got lucky when he ejected and survived from a spinning rolling plane.

  • The bomb wasnt dropped it fell off. It got sucked in and tore shit up which caused an explosion. if that was a real bomb there would be no plane

  • This is only happens in America.

  • @photosshop are you fucking blind. If for some reason you cant see the screen in front of you and see those markings on the plane, those arnt american. I cant believe how many fucking dumbasses like you there are now days

  • Its a dummy test bomb filled with concrete. Vacuum was made by the chase plane sucking it into its wing. Watch episode 1 of destroyed in seconds if you don'y believe me

  • this is an empty fuel tank

  • weapon of the future : air-to-air bomb :3

  • Is this the intelligent bomb? Lol

  • this was training of a missile fire..

but due to air pressure produced between the jets caused the missile go up instead to going down according to plan...

fortunately this missile test was not with real one,, just the size and weight was exact.. dats why there was no any explosion but just broke the wing of jet...

  • that was worst air-strike EVAR !!!

  • this is fake afghans cant afford missles! that must of been a hell of a throw for a rock

  • another 30 million dollars of tax money gone ...lol

  • its not a missile u stupid idiot

  • @devilazpl A missile can refer to any airborne moving object.

  • @1pnoe wow... i squirted a "missile" over your mum last night -__-

  • @GlitchGang Ah, it all makes sense now... She said she was in a water pistol fight with some troll. :/

  • cowards in the skies

  • Is it just me or at 1:12 the F18 is missing its right tail rudder?

  • @BJWTF no it just blends in with the sky. You can see that the right tail rudder is there in the beginning.

  • It's not a weapon, it's a fuel tank. They were testing it to see how it would fall as it was being jettisoned. The A4 Skyhawk was a chase plane observing, and was a bit too close obviously.

  • @docellis55 Thanks it's nice to read something thats not misleading.i was going to say the same thing.

  • Why were they flying in such close formation anyway? I understand he was taking pictures, but seriously Navy, ZOOM LENS. It works wonders.

  • must be some weird aerodynamics for a heavy bomb to be sucked up and forward like that.

maybe the standing wave of air of the wing of the lower plane actually pushed the bomb forwards and up?

  • i dunno but its like one of those moments whn a small kid tries to kiss a big kids ass in high school, and gets punchd in the face.......

  • From the original clip with sound...

On a test bombing run, a Navy F-18 Hornet drops a 250 lb. bomb right in the path of the chase plane taking photos.

  • some people need to read up on things before they start calling people dumb ass's it was a bomb not anything like like a ATG or ATA missile

  • it wasnt a missile...its not streamlined enough to be a missile...definetely a bomb drop gone wrong

  • it was not a missile, it was a bomb that got suckt into the the fighters engine.

  • @FLSanimation ur fuckign stupid it was a missile, when you think of a bomb you think of wires and complicated shit hooked up to C4's and shit, it's easy to see, that one of the missile's, detached from the other Jet, clipped the wing of the other jet and got owned, watch the shit dumbass, BOMB? missile noob.

  • @mapleleaveskill it was not air to air missile.

  • @mapleleaveskill What kind of mental disorder do you have?

  • @mapleleaveskill i saw a show that showed this clip it was actually a dummy practice bomb...as in a bomb just filled up with concrete :P not a missile.....and in the description it says "the bomb dropped" lol

  • @mapleleaveskill Missiles are not dropped. Bombs are dropped.

  • @mapleleaveskill I have been amazed by this statement.

  • hypocracy betrayal bravery wah

  • it's not a bomb, but n empty "pod"....a bomb is much heavier to flip in this way

  • The pylon is still attached to the bomb, thats the reason why the bomb is going its own way. They released the pylon instead of the bomb.

  • battlefield 2 style

  • @JBLaOHeI why battlefield 2?

  • OOPS...SORRY I PRESSED WRONG BUTTON !!!

  • The reactiontime from the A-4 pilot is REALLY fast!

  • deym!! no other missile can do that. lolz! ;D

  • the air pressure between the two jets causes the bomb to rise and hit the other, trust me ive seen this on tv before

  • That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, first of all, our military may be taking some cuts, but the Navy F-18s haven't gone to dropping slabs of concrete, second, it had to be an external fuel tank, a concrete bomb, anywhere from 100-500 pounds would not be sucked over the wing.

  • @Bakoobie u know a slab of concrete might take out a tank, might have to put a guidance system on it though...

  • @azzazx6r hahaaaaaaaaa

    good idea

  • A concrete bomb test gone wrong.

  • In soviet russia, bombs are adequet A2A missiles.

  • The pilot's really friggin lucky if he survived that.

  • Weres your 8 year doctorate degree from A.V.A. now hmmm? O YEAH IN THE GROUND ALONG WITH YOUR PLANE!!!!

  • Flyin Bomb!! :D!

  • the bomb was made of concrete it was not a test, the pilot did not know that gravity would suck the "concrete bomb" into the A-4 skyhawk, if it was a "real bomb" both pilots would be dead.

  • Looks like he dropped his external fuel tank. An empty external is light enough to flip into another close flying AC.

  • @ajk2cats I agree with you on this one.

  • I bet he thought that was one level he would never have to pull.

  • Heat seeking missile?

  • you know somoene got fired...

  • It's a droptank. End of discussion.

  • that wasnt a missile it was a cement filled practice ordinance

  • In Soviet Russia Bomb Shoots YOU!

  • It didn't fall very strongly- I would have thought it was more likely to be a drop tank.

  • Comment removed

  • Fighter gets hit by GBU or (BOMB) ... NOT MISSILE. change the name genious

  • Thats not a bomb -_-

but a droptank... i saw a vid of it with the camera in the cockpit...

  • Comment removed

  • @TheRaellz umm yeah they can...

  • @EveryDayBmx your everyday redneck sure.

  • @TheRaellz you dont test a missle on a plane, where a human is in. you could be that stupid. your comment tells

  • @998761000 who is saying it was a test? read the description and try again.

you're clearly that stupid. your comment tells ;)

  • @TheRaellz you said that. you should get your brain checked

  • @998761000 oh now i get you. clearly you need to get your brain checked if you cannot figure out what i meant. obviously your mind is unable to comprehend simple english and logic.

  • @998761000 don't you have some video games to go post videos of? =p

    kids.

  • @TheRaellz of course i have, but i have time for this too

  • @TheRaellz yes it was a bomb drop test but the wake turbulence between the 2 planes caused the bomb to go into the A-4

  • @TheRaellz no, it was actually a smaller plane flying BEHIND the other one that dropped it, it flew backwards into the smaller plane flying BEHIND it, but because its small it looks like its flying abouve it

  • @modwebby cool but i never said it was in front of it.

  • @TheRaellz i did not say you did, but i replied on your comment as you said you thing it was some kind of test

it wasnt planned to go into the other plane, that was actually an accident,

  • @TheRaellz actually no. google it

  • @pmharl how the hell do you google that...

    jet missile hits plane

ya that ought to narrow it down o.o

  • @TheRaellz thats one fucking expensive test then...

  • @TheRaellz it was a test of a new bomb rack, the bomb was filled with concrete. The wake of the other aircraft caused the bomb to become unstable in flight.

  • @n49945 This looks more like a YF17 with some serious hardpoint failure to me. Around 0:30 you can clearly see the bomb (MK82 or 83) is still attached to the pylon. Thats why the bomb is going crazy.

@valeriobert You saw the pylon still beeing attached? Imagine how fast this plane goes and how much wind this thing catches at high speed. That bomb should be around 500lb or 1000lb so it's totally possible.

  • @DroehnIng you should read the news article on it. This happened at PAX River in 1984 and was a seperation test of the ejector rack.

  • @n49945 1981... sorry

  • Lol i know what rly happened but this could be the cause:

pilot 1: Yep, were lining in formation now.

pilot 2: Ok, approaching airport, get ready!

pilot 1: Oh noes, my coffee is getting cold! *Grabs cofee and acidentally presses [FIRE]*

Pilor 2: Dude, should have gone to specsavers!

  • @supersoldier7738 dude shut the fuck up your not funny

  • @supersoldier7738 like plt801echo said, that joke was a FAIL.

  • It is an A-4,or to be exact a TA-4H or M Skyhawk II.Note the location and shape of intakes, very distinctive and much larger than a T-45 Goshawk. Also the colour arrangement on the F/A-18 is that of very early production models or possible pre-production models. The T-45 Goshawk (BAe Hawk) was not in service with the USN or USMC at this time.

  • The turbulence between the aircraft, caused a vacuum like suction when he released the bomb. New policy is aircraft have to be 200 FT apart when dropping bombs.

  • @wtfskilz

Nope. The bomb did not release from the IMRS (weapons release system attached to hard point of wing) and the bomb with the IMRS attached has vastly different aerodynamic characteristics at several hundred knots than it does just with the bomb by itself. TA-4 aircraft was observing the release test. This took place at China Lake Naval Weapons Test Facility.

  • Thats why you don't let women drive airplanes.

  • @grubbytron Thats why you don't let women fly airplanes.

  • ULTRA KILL

  • pilot die ?

  • @crunchymix no at the end he ejected

  • That guy has BALLS OF STEEL

  • wtf were they testing...

  • in Soviet Russia Bomb goes up

  • @ISIcyberAGENT you on like every comment man you play to much COD of what ever its called

  • @ISIcyberAGENT haha!

  • @ISIcyberAGENT those are US planes you dick

  • @MatuSSisko ok dickhead don't get angry i ws jst chillin

  • @ISIcyberAGENT SOVIET???? Fucking retard it,s F18 Hornet and A4 sky-hawk.

IN USA bombs fly UP instead of going down!

  • @Archer28M Uh, I think you missed the point. Look up Yakov Smirnoff.

  • @ISIcyberAGENT fucking fag.

  • @ISIcyberAGENT In this case in capitalist America XD

  • @ISIcyberAGENT Its american planes, dickhead.

  • I thought that was fuel tank, not bomb?

  • @Paun991 They don't drop external fuel tanks.

  • some people just aren't very good at GTA San Andreas

  • Good to know that the pilot survived

  • 0:27 whoops, sorry!

  • its a empty fuel tank the area the F18 is loading it is the designated place for the fuel tank

  • american quality

  • That was no missle. That was chuck norris's chucking rock.

  • TKs these days...they even started doing it in real life?

  • It's an A4, not a hawk.

  • @TheophilusPWildbeest Its a Hawk. Google both planes and you'll see the difference.

  • @ViperSRTnACR Sorry, it's not. It is a TA-4, the two seater version of the skyhawk. I know where you are coming from, the first view from below could be either, but later you see the semi circular intakes mounted high on the sides, and the triangular wing shape. The Hawk intakes are much smaller and set at the wing root while the wing is longer, more a traditional wing shape rather than a delta. Also the cockpit, though the same shape, is much higher set on the TA-4, the hawk cockpit is lower.

  • own

  • chuck norris can shoot an airplane with his finger by yelling BANG

  • your it!

  • At least he got out.. That;s one hell of a ride

  • they wanted to touch penises

  • i swear this is just like Ace Combat! hope they are safe though!

  • @Getdamoneyng0 Mobius 1, Engage.

  • @C4xFilms LoL

  • That's tax-payers money put to good use.

  • He almost avoided it.

  • F 18 Pilot "biotch your blocking my view" Hawk pilot " that mother fucker"

  • Must be hax...

  • stupid americans hahahahaaaaaaa

  • 0:15 THATS FOR STEALING MY SANDWITCH!!!

  • It was super auto aim missile

  • Its an A4 Skyhawk FFs.

  • Lol I would've been SO pissed if I were in the plane that got hit by that huge piece of stone thingy.

  • such a shame.

  • Fail bomb....

  • Its an empty external fuel tank, not a bomb.

  • @spurgear4 im glad im not the only one who knows what it really was

  • did he ejected????

  • they found a javelin !

  • Are you blind if you cant see that tthat is a Skyhawk mate may i suggest you stop wanking coz your going blind!!!

  • dear santa...

  • Yeah, this isn't a missile strike.

  • i hate aimbots...

  • Takes skill to shoot down a friendly.

  • What If the president was in there? xD

  • OWNED!

  • Always a relief to see the pilot parachute out.

  • F18: I'M SO BAD AT THIS ;_;

  • pilot 1: is teamkill on?

    pilot 2: dunno

pilot 1: let's see... OH SHIT

    pilot 2: -.-'

  • @johnnyrckt Great, you learn something new everyday :)

  • @johnnyrckt It's an A-4, not a Hawk.

  • @nocalsteve Yeah sorry I got that backwards. Dyslexia is great :)

  • @johnnyrckt Are you retarded?Making such false claims?

  • @johnnyrckt It's a A-4 Skyhawk...

  • @johnnyrckt That wasn't the case at all. watch the video of this on "Destroyed in Seconds".

  • @johnnyrckt

i heard that the bomb was filled with water oO

  • @SniperGuy6133 it is only concrete

  • @johnnyrckt Most modern ordinance has fail safes that will not detonate for a short period of time after deployment.

  • @johnnyrckt its a skyhawk...the Hawk is made by BAE systems, which the US does not use. a variant called the T-45 goshawk is used, but that my friend is still not a goshawk, or a hawk in any of its forms. its a douglas skyhawk.

  • @johnnyrckt Bombs arn't just TNT strapped to a plane, they have arming altitudes and such, seriously doubt it would have gone off.

  • Comment removed

  • @johnnyrckt Judging by the size of the tail fin and the shape of the exhaust I'd say it's an A-4. Also, as far as I know hawks can't carry fuel tanks in their center pylon.

  • @SteelSnail Yes it was an A4 Sjyhawk and yes Shyhawks can carry fuel in the centerline station. If the A4 varient had the 2 stations per wing, only the inboard could carry fuel.

  • @Robbob9933 Exactly. What I meant is that it's not an BAE Hawk, as some claim, because BAE Hawks can't carry fuel tanks on their centerline station.
