I love this song and enjoyed this rough edge live performance. I believe that the only hold back is the quality of the recording equipment. Besides, I tip my hat to anyone willing to tackle this song with the degree of difficulty involved. Springsteen the guitar sync'r and sloppy player Keith Richards could not even come close to this guitarist . Again, nice job.
I see a lot of critics here....but this is a pretty decent cover guys. I'd like to see any band pull off ANY Steely Dan cover and get it verbatim lol. Good work
There was a band out of Albuquerque that used to do this song in one of their sets. The guitar player nailed it like no one else I've ever heard...to this day! Notes and tone to the bone!
PETER...I agree. No offense to these guys, but their not even in the same universe. Perhaps that's a tribute to Steely Dan and Elliott Randall that the original song, for all it's easy listening and smooth lead guitar, is technically demanding as hell to actually pull off.
Very good lads!

I luv this version. Nicely done with a twist of putting an original stamp on the song as well.

the sound quality isn't great and the guitarist does his own thing, but, it's actually not a bad version!

Crimson - What I wouldn't give to see an authentic cover of Elliot Randall's lead riffs on Reeling...

The reason that Elliott plays it is because he wrote it. Did it in one take, BTW. But if you want to see a cover, you should hear Skunk play it.

the lead is played in A-mixolydian...just think of it as B-minor pentatonic and you'll get all the notes you need...the proverbial "B box"

You need some pipes to sing this one...not bad.

nice job. Guitar player gets pretty good tone, lead singer is on. Not too many bands covering Dan. Keep it up!
