Islam is a word of Peace...Therefore muslims are people of peace..Most muslims don't show it , muslims born muslims are taking it for gruanted .. We all believe in the one true God, whether we call Him Allah, God, Yahweh, etc. We all have the same ideology about living according to His values & teachings through the help of our Holy Books & teachers. Instead of arguing about the small details & differences that may exist, why can't we just accept each other as followers of the same God & truly embrace that we are all sisters & brothers made in the image & likeness of the one true God/Allah.

I definitely support this song. I'm a Catholic & love Maher's words. Since the first time I heard them, I've felt shivers and with peace with the words. I didn't go in search for enlightenment. I'm a practicing Catholic, and would love to hear the beautiful words about God, no matter what religion speaks it.

How does it make sense that Jesus had to die for mankind's sins (yet they still sin)? Why would sin 'separate' you from God and someone had to die because of the sins of others? I don't see how something natural like sin, can get between you and God. There is such thing as prayer, direct 1-1 with God...? Thanks.

Jesus had to die for our sins 'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' In the beginning we had a relationship wid God but sin had separated us frm him, wen Jesus died he was able to reunite us wid God again, so we culd have a personal 1 on 1 relationship wid him and the gifts of the holy spirit r free to whoever asks. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice becoz he had never sinned, he gave his life so dat we culd b forgiven.

How does it make sense that Jesus had to die for mankind's sins (yet they still sin)? Why would sin 'separate' you from God and someone had to die because of the sins of others? I don't see how something natural like sin, can get between you and God. There is such thing as prayer, direct 1-1 with God...? Thanks.

Jesus had to die for our sins 'For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' In the beginning we had a relationship wid God but sin had separated us frm him, wen Jesus died he was able to reunite us wid God again, so we culd have a personal 1 on 1 relationship wid him and the gifts of the holy spirit r free to whoever asks. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice becoz he had never sinned, he gave his life so dat we culd b forgiven.

Islam has direct relationship with GOD. GOD directly speaking to us thru the Quran.

They are officially banned in Saudi Arabia to do tabligh. Don you know that sulfis, Shafa'e or Malikis do not allow a girl to marry a boy unless her Guardian (wali) is agreed whereas, hanafis allow it. Is it a simple difference. I have seen huge fights between different sunni sects just to decide that where they should fold the hands while prayers, should "Ameen" be saying in loud voice or low voice. Come on get a life.

muhammad had nothing to do with Abraham. hagar and child ishmael were sent out from Cannan to the desert wilderness of Beer-sheba. After roaming the wilderness for some time, Ishmael and his mother settled in the Desert of Paran. Eventually, his mother found him a wife from the land of Egypt. Ishmael also appeared with Isaac at the burial of Abraham. Abraham or Ishmael never went to mecca in their life time..

There is historical evidance that pagan arab tribes build the kaaba to worship idols!!

@answeringislam2011 Quran doesn't say Believe in The Tanak and The Bible. Quran says to believe in the Torah which was revealed to Moses and the Ingil which was revealed to Jesus - And Both didn't write it down (if you are aware)
ITS STUPIDITY OF MUSLIMS TO REFER TORAH to Tanak or OT and INGIL to Bible or NT
Produce those Book and we can analyse and not 40 plus contradicting inspirations.
