@sgbigsby1989 yep, a cranked 5 watt valve amp through a closed back 4 X 12 would tear your head off with volume. it'd be just under half as loud as a 100 watt stack.
you should have placed the mic of the cam or whatever you are using closer to one of the speakers to prevent that metal high gain tone from being askewd by ambient frequ.
Thanks for the advice. I found it was a struggle to get a good tone from the digi camera. Too close and it totally compresses and clips, too far away and you get background noise, as you point out. I'll have to have another go.
yep, she sounds pretty good, thought the hendrix sound was a bit twangy. but the ac/dc sound was very good, all you were short was the SG, but sure that can be your next project.
