  • Tell me how much would it cost to buy Face 1 and ship it to germany in total? And how good can you see through it? Thanks.

  • @Shawsh2143 Hi, the masks are $35 USD + $14.95 flat-rate International Priority Air shipping. You can see fine through the mask - like wearing sunglasses indoors.

  • Where can I get one of these??

  • @DomFernandez87 That's an easy one.... My website above. More inventory coming Monday, Feb. 27!

  • But can you see through it?

  • come on you cant be sold out !

  • @Sammyboy106 Sorry.. More in a few days!

  • YES PLZ.

  • Thank you Grafixfan for this awesome mask! I was on "Karneval" yesterday (similar to Halloween) and all the people freaked out when they saw my mask. Quote "the best costume I've ever seen, just because of that mask" I've actually felt epic :D

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Also are these like a one time thing only or are you going to keep making these cause I REALLY want one and BTW whats you fav oen 1 2 3 4 or 5

  • @nhantrungha Thanks for the interest! I try to make these on a weekly basis. Sometimes I make different versions due to popularity. But I always make A LOT of version 1's. My personal fave is Version 1.

  • Want...

  • Out of stock!

    Hopefully soon?

I really want to buy version 3

  • is this real life? or is thi just fantasy o.O

  • @ryanthemadman1 Caught in a landslide , no escape from reality

  • The faces are from Rorschach's test, which is a test where they show you pictures and ask what you see in them.

  • I'm guessing you can't wash this? So how do you clean it?

    Regardless, this is very cool!

  • @ladofmad Hi, I wouldn't recommend a washing machine, but it is moisture proof because I heat-set the ink. Much like a tshirt. To clean, just use a damp sponge and dab the spots.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan What about the eyes? Do they move too?

  • @MrNightHawke To a point. I do extend the ink up the nose and around the eyes, so it's really a matter of how you move your breathe around (how you direct it) to affect those parts of the mask.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan I noticed myine too

  • There is good visibility with this mask ?

  • CAN SEND TO BRASIL?

  • Just a heat sensitive material, your breath is what's "moving" the color

  • ima order version 3

  • Hey so I have version 3 its really cool but If its not too much to ask can you add a breathing tutorial. I didn't really realize it until I actually got the mask but breathing technique is important. You do it so much better.

    Thanks

  • @LUKEbooiscaredu nice idea !!!

  • I ordered version 1 and 3 today :) I can't wait for them to arrive, version 3 for me and my fiancé version 1. So freaking awesome

  • @oisse AWESOME IDEA

  • I love all of them when will you get more stock and do you sell to UK? :DDDDDDD

  • @icomeinpeacenot Hi, thank you! I'm opening up the orders page today again. I try to open once a week. And yes, I do ship worldwide via International Priority Air.

  • You know how badass you would look robbing a store with that?! I'd just give someone the money if they robbed me with that on.

  • gta 4?

  • i wish there was a way to make the upper parts of the face move too- then i would be sold.

  • if only it cycled between faces...

  • shut up and take my money!

  • Lol the fifth one looks like an angry mustachioed man.

  • introducing:

    CAPTIN THERAPIST!!!

  • I just wanted to say that these are awesome.

  • want to buy please make more...

  • So where do you get materials from? Also why approve comments? Do you get that many trolls?

  • @DeathnoteBB Nah, not many trolls. Every now and then a jerk may pop up, though.. Might as well keep it clean for everyone, ya know? Anyway, I order my fabric in bulk from across the country and it ain't cheap. About $14.95 a yard; it's quality stuff. Same with the inks I use - I ship it in. Then I have a local company that makes the hoods for me (I'm no expert seamstress or anything). Then I add the ink imagery myself. Cool, eh?

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Yeah. Pretty good opportunity you got, everyone seems to love these things.

  • can i wash it?

  • @acidthechno You can use a damp sponge to clean it. I heat-set the ink so it's permanent, basically like a tshirt. But I wouldn't submerge it in water or a washing machine and dryer. Probably best to avoid that.

  • What if you wash them?

  • But answer me this; does it come with a journal to write down the monologues the mask gives?

  • hey guys what mask should I get 1 or 3? and what one sells more?

  • @LUKEbooiscaredu Version 1 is the most popular by a longshot- for good reason, too, I'll admit. Because of the rough-edges of the static parts, it blends better when the ink fades in and out. Version 3 is second most popular - most likely because of the "skull-y" appearance. It just looks mean. Version 4 and 5 are about equal. And Version 2 comes in last - still sells a lot, but I tend to produce less because of this.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Hi, could you please tell me what the music in the video is called?

  • hey guys what mask should I get 1 or 3?

  • does these move by them self or do you do something that make the ink move?

  • @MultiDitioN You control the moving effect with your breath. If you don't breathe, it won't move. Hopefully, you breathe :)

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Okey. Well it's a awesome mask either way. Keep doing more of these stuff. :D

  • i NEED one!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i NEED one!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan These are cool

  • Hella cool

  • Song is Pruit Igoe by Philip Glass.

  • I could use this to rob 711 without anyone knowing my identity not saying that i will but still that mask would tight when your robing some place same thing with the anonymous mask

  • @mmatthew97 same with any mask actually. that's how masks work.

  • Version 3 is beast

  • this is so awesome, I NEED ONE :O

  • Wow okay, I'm now going as Rorschach for my 21'st. Your website says all your masks are out of stock, when can we expect you get more in? I'm so getting one of these

  • @MVPatski Hi, I tend to put up masks once a week. I try for Mondays but they're usually sold out by late Wednesday. Good luck!

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Awesome thanks for the quick reply! I'll keep on your website and Facebook so I get one of them asap :D

  • yo how much? dash me one please

  • @TheWorldOfJames $35 USD

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan do you post to england? i want one!

  • @TheWorldOfJames Sure do! International priority shipping for $12.95 USD.

  • I KEEP THROWING MONEY AT THE SCREEN, BUT NOTHING HAPPENS!

  • I NEED TO BUY THAT!!!

  • Reminds me of Slenderman.

  • Will you still be selling these for next halloween? haha

  • So awesome!

  • How exactly did you make the ink move while in the mask? I know you said you heat applied it... but I'm just wondering how it works.

  • @TehMusicCentral It's breath activated. Warm air out = turns ink white. Cool air in = darkens the ink. The ink is applied as a gradient into a static base pattern, so it morphs between the two images as the ink fades in and out.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan You sir, are a genius. I'm surprised that you sell it for so cheap.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan oh cool. Thanks :D

  • Hmmm so how can i possibly clean it if something would happend to it ? Is there a way or i am stuck with buying new one ?

  • @xvMitsukaivx I recommend a damp sponge, to dab the spots if you'd like. The washer scenario might very well not be a problem, but it's not something I see ending up well. Especially the heat of the dryer...

  • Will it ever lose its effect ? For example if i will wear it in the next winter and winter after that will the visual effect be less and less visible ? Or it will be the same always ? :)

  • @xvMitsukaivx It's permanent, like a tshirt. I heat-set the ink so it's basically a part of the fabric. But I wouldn't throw it in a washing machine...

  • how does it work?

  • hey dude very cool and i really want to buy one these but i have some questions.

    1. I look at the shipping cost in minnesota and it was free, i think this is wrong

    2. how does it actually change every time?

    3. and for version 3 are you sold out?

  • @Mageballer43 Thanks!

    1. Shipping in the U.S. is free. Priority shipping is $4.95.

    2. The ink fades in and out with your breath. Black = cold air in. White = warm air out.

    3. As of Monday afternoon (Jan. 9) I still have a good amount of Version 3 in stock. Good luck!

  • I just got type 1. Looks good. Fits snug. Takes a little to get used to seeing through it. Really changes! Fast Shipping! I even e-mailed him before I ordered and he got back to me the same day. Its really cool and worth picking up.

  • This is pretty awesome, Love Rorschach amazing char in watchman :)

  • Dear Santa...

  • Ugh, missed version 3 again.

  • I just bought one :) Can't wait for it to get here. At 1:30 A.M Dec 30th I ordered it. Didn't want you to run out again.

  • Holy shit mask 3 is creepy. I love it.

  • As far as I know it's the theme of the GTA4 trailer.

  • Tried using a black mask with white ink?

  • I love that Phillip Glass in the background

  • What is this sorcery?

  • So i would rlly luv buying one,

means it costs like 40 € for someone living in europe? (35 USD --> 30€ and 13 USD (shipping) ---> 10€) or are there any more taxes i have top pay to get one of these hehe

    And another Question:

Which one looks the best and / or has the best effect? i dunno if 1 or 3 (my favorites) or 5 they these 3 look the coolest but 5 does not look that spectacular i guess UMFG dunno which one to buy hehe thankya anyway hope ull read and respond to this hehe cya and nice work

  • @dooferdumkopp No taxes, just $35 plus shipping :) As for which one I think looks best: Version 1 (the most popular by a long shot) is pretty wicked looking, with a very nice morphing transition. I agree about Version 5 - it doesn't have enough personality for me. Version 3 rocks too, in a "skull" kind of way. For some reason I'm very partial to Version 4, as well ... very clean looking.

  • song? Funny I got the directors cut for watchmen for christmas

    Rorschach for ever bitch.

Wait is this the candyman theme I though abouyt it while writing correct me plz.

  • @SandmanPicturez

No, it's composed by philip glass and it's called "Pruit Igoe" on the album "Koyaanisqatsi"

  • LoL they have been sold out for ages

  • Serious questions:

    1. What is the visibility like?

    2. How long will they mask last for, if it is washed once every 2 weeks?

  • @DERAJYDAC 1. Visibility is not an issue. The fabric is very light and very porous, perfect for seeing through.

    2. I wouldn't throw this in a washing machine. Wash using a damp sponge to clean spots. Because I heat-set the ink, it's permanent - like a tshirt.

  • Well now I need to watch The Watchmen

  • lol koyaanisquatsi

  • 1 and 5 are probably best.

  • SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY.

  • @Boxsaur he's not talking o.o

  • The song is Pruit Igoe - Philip Glass

  • My friend asked me to buy him one of these for Christmas. I looked down on him, and said, "No."

  • How you breath with this mask?

  • @MrSydPsy Normally.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan When are am i going to be able to buy one of these? They're sold out atm, right?

  • @jemoederisvetgeil Hi, thanks for the interest! Yeah, they've been selling out pretty routinely. Most like I'll be making the orders page live again in another 2 days, maybe 3 at most.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan Do you sell for other countries? I'm from Brazil and would like to buy one.

  • @MrSloopful Sure!

  • WHY THE FUCK DO I HAVE GLASSES!!!!!

  • @fihndus Someone earlier asked me how the fit would be if they wore glasses under the mask. Problem solved. Weirdo.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan

    Hey! weird? I prefer quirky

  • @fihndus Not you. The other guy.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan

    aha.. No offense taken :D

  • does it work through the heat from breathing?

  • @DrokkBr000 bingo

  • @DrokkBr000 nope, magic.

  • I just went to your website but all versions are out of stock...any idea when more will be in stock? I would really like to purchase this!

  • @mpkid5 Thanks for the interest! I try to open up the orders page a few times a week. They tend to sell pretty fast. Shoot me an email from my website and I'll send you a note when it's live again.

  • do you really have to be moving your face/mouth for the ink to move?

  • @bluechriistmas Honestly, no :( I admit, I overdid it ... it was a long day and night, and I wanted to make sure I showed all the variations.

  • I am impressed!

  • can you see through it pretty well if at all? very cool BTW.

  • @AIDSCzar Thank you, thank you. Yes, I use a very very good fabric that allows for great visibility - it's extremely light, soft and flat-out perfect. There are no issues there at all. In fact, I refuse to use any other fabric so I bulk order it in from Alabama just for these masks.

  • This is awesome. Why crappy video?

  • @moochabod Macbook Air + deleted factory photo/video software = first time using Quicktime video capture to capture this crappy video :(

  • Rorschach's Journal, Sunday, December 18th. 2011. Found video on internet. Sells masks. Hurm. Interesting concept. Moving ink under mask surface, pattern never the same. Might buy. Useful for masking identity. May purchase. Heard Comedian may be dead. Will investigate after mask shows up. Need paypal account. Will set up. Hurmm...

  • Is the Mask Washable ?

  • @Bellogas I don't recommend using a machine washer or dryer. Just using a damp sponge to clean the areas is fine, as I heat-set the ink so it's permanent and moisture proof. But I wouldn't submerge it in water for long periods of time.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan That's brilliant, I love it. But I notice, it's limited to those areas of the face that can readily manipulate the temperature of the fabric (i.e. nose & mouth). Have you thought about extending the idea to the rest of the face?

I mean, if you built a fairly flat network of perforated pipes into the mask and connected them all to a relatively unobtrusive snorkel-style mouth piece, you could extend the colour-change capacity to nearly all of the mask. I would buy that!

  • @elvenator You've been reading Reddit? That's the theory, but imho impractical if you want the mask to conform to your facial features.

  • @TheOriginalGrafixfan No, no Reddit. It was an independent, if not original idea. I was thinking precisely the same as you in that the contures coule be problematic. I conceived the idea as only accentuating those areas that are already sticking out; brow ridges, cheek bones & bridge of the nose. But, you're right, it'd be sigficicant work for perhaps an unwarranted gain.

  • So glad I stumbled onto your site! Just one question though...how durable are these? Just wondering if they last a while or if they're delicate.

  • @wearethearchers Hi, well ... I've made masks years ago and pulled them out of my closet and they work as good as new. So these should last. And they're not delicate; the fabric is very light and stretchy so no worries about pulling it too hard.

  • How goes the vision in these things?

Just thinking of ways of both standing out and being invisible (ID wise) during protests. Sorta useless to me if as a byproduct of looking a mixture of awesome and terrifying means I walk into a tree.

  • @treeformlol lolol! I hear you. The vision is decent, similar to wearing sunglasses indoors. I have found the best fabric being that it's light, airy and still hides your features so that it's really not a concern. Good luck with the protesting!

  • 1st mask is God-tier.

  • Wow! But aren't you just breathing for it to move? Either way... pretty cool n.n

I know what I an cosplaying as :3

  • пареньку-то подлечиться б не помешало...

  • this. is fucking. AWESOME.

  • Are you still making them now?

  • @VCSballer25 I sure am! My website went viral so - long story short - I used up all the available fabric in the city fulfilling orders. I've got a bulk shipment of more fabric coming in any minute now. Soon as I have it, I'll make my orders page live again.

  • Do colors change shape constantly over years or only for a few weeks/months? If this is permanent I will buy one in a second.

  • @Umetnik Hi, thanks for your interest! The ink is permanent. I heat-set it into the fabric so it acts like a silk-screen (but done by hand). I've had masks I've made years ago that still work as new.

  • dear santa.....

  • Holy shit want

  • They will look up and say "Sell us at a discount!" And I will answer... "No."

  • @MJPByron lol

  • take all of my money.

  • Ink/paint that reacts to the heat from your breath?

  • GIVE ME BACK MY FAAACE!

  • I like this in a disturbed sort of way

  • Luv it!

  • Version 1 is better

  • Someone needs to rob a bank in this mask.

  • @253emiliano

Someone *is* robbing a bank in this mask right now

  • @253emiliano ...You spelt stop someone from robbing a bank wrong.

  • whats the name of the song? Know I recognise it from somewhere...

  • My path to vigilante justice starts here...

  • Fancy :D

  • so next robberies will look like this

  • Some kind of thermochromism? That's dope.

  • these are so sweet :O

  • Want!!
