Omg , I'm scared to go to showcase now . We leave tomorrow . I got to Parkway High School , And I'm on color guard . There color guard is ahh - mazingg ! But after watching this , I highly doubt we can't beat them ! But they're good ! It's just a different style then PHS , We're more of a drum corp thingg ! And guard is SO TOGETHER !

Just in, out of almost 40 bands from Missouri to Florida, LHS Band finished 3RD overall in the finals in Atlanta, GA. They also won a special award for "Outstanding Musical Performance". Congrats to all!! Now it's on to the Grand Nationals in Indianapolis, IN. Good Luck LHS Band!!

Go on to the forums for "Music for All" and start talking with other bands. There are several friendly ppl. Also, a couple were real impressed with ya'lls performance. Ther is one that thinks you will go to finals at BOA Nats.

I placed all of the Lafayette videos on private until after the Nats. at the request of the Director of the band. He wants to suprise everyone in Atl. with how good we are.

Fontainebleau's show was more of a fun-filled, crowd-pleasing type of show. They did an amazing job with it. However, Lafayette's show was more of an artistic, judge-pleasing show. Personally, I think it came down to what the judges preferred. If it where a different set of judges, the results may be different. Since Lafayette high is moving on to the national scene, we had to tweak our style. However, I do not think we deserved to win by almost 5 points. It should have been closer.

well, yeah... thats about it... You guy's marched well, had good colorguard, and percussion. You played your music well, but it wasn't music that I like.

you mixed that up, but I know what you meant.. I agree, just like st. amant's korean show... I hated it. I wish they would have stuck with their good show, they had before the storm. I mean, the show itself, they didn't do anything hard... but what they did, was done well, which got them a good score.
