derek, next time you have to visit the mercedes museum ! it is many times bigger than the porsche museum and it shows hunders of cars. it also has an as impressive architecture as the porsche museum. There you can find some 300 SL or famous F1 cars, there is a prototype with a 44,5Liter engine and some of the most beautiful oldtimers you can find !

I love Porsches. To me, Porsches have always looked stellar (excepting only of course, the Panamera and the Cayenne). I must visit this museum sometime. The first Porsche shell you saw, was at an exhibit in Atlanta (my hometown) called "The Allure of the Automobile." That shell is quite an amazing thing to look at.

I'm really not a Porsche fan but I do particularly like the 917 GT, even though the paint job sucks. The "Laser" 917 from the movie "Herbie Goes to Monti Carlo" was beast! I even copied the paint job from that car to a similar racing Porsche on Forza III. I think it was the same Porsche that was upside down in the episode.
