Personally I really hate how they gave the "Pimp" gimmicks to Black people. Like the original "Pimp" was The "Master of Style" or something like that Slick was awarded with that gimmick. Then they gave Godfather that, in which I liked his Papo Shango Gimmick better, The "Ultimate Curse"..... Classic. Godfather was one of those stereotype characters which idiotic fans in the Attitude era didn't realize like when DX mocked the Nation of Domination -- that was Blackface they used.
That was a good gimmick for the mid 90's era for WWF but he'll always be Papo Shango - - the original voodoo master that incited fear in the hearts of all the Warriors *Ultimate warriors terms for his fans*. But oh well it takes a "Pimp" to get over right?
I'm sure you saw it but, you did catch Raw's 15 yr anniv. right? The Godfather showed up there, you should have seen how quickly the roof to my friends house came off when we heard The Godfather's music! Now's he owns a strip joint in Vegas! It'd be great to see him constantly though!
