Def Leppard even liked this version, obviously their's is much better, but this keeps the rock in the song & doesn't deviate too far from the original, nor does it compete with the original because it's in a different genre so it works out alright, not my favorite artist, I'm just saying.

I thought I heard her test the note too but dismissed it until I read that you noticed it. Charmbracelet has some great music on it, but it was mostly whispery singing, nothing like the belting in The Emancipation of Mimi. I agree - Glitter is one of my favorite albums of hers; song #6 (the Rick James infused "All My Life) is so fun like a Mary Jane Girls song, though Loverboy (#10 not the rap mix on #1) is my favorite.

I think this is one of those songs that really shows Her Range.. here she she begins with like a lower register and a little high..she belts out at the middle, Very Nicely by the way..plus I love her voice texture.. specially when she starts the song...she switches from belting to softer notes, she uses her whistle register I mean is there any note she can't sing??.. her voice and technique are so versatil!!

Well actually she has Always covered her ears..specially when she does the high notes, if u watch clips from the 90's you'll see her doing it when shes sings with her whistle register..I think she does it to listen to herself better, for singers its very important to listen to themselves in order to sing in key etc.. specially her sho sings many tones, when you change tones so often u wanna listen to yourself...and you're right..
