Brand name drugs (more specifically antidepressants) are big business for pharms -- but don't expect your crappy hmo to cover it though.
Check whats in your grandmas medicine cabinet. My dad gets halucenagens paid for by medicare.
I just read somewhere that something like a 1/3 of people on medicare have antidepressant scripts they asked for by brand. The article was about how the market went from nothing to 1/3 of medicare recipients in just a few short years of tv ads.
The more important thing is if the drug companies are spending millions with advertising with CNN and Fox, do you think that the news channels will lie for the drug companies and sell their talking points?
are you having trouble sleeping? does your wife thnik you are stupid? have you locked your keys in the car before? did you dog pee in the house? well if you have had any of these happen to you then you need fuckwityourhead....ask your doctor if this pill id right for you. side effects may include death, dirt kissing, and mild deadness. LOL! great work brother! thanks.
By showing people the nature of various problems, they'll be convinced they have what is considered a genuine medical problem when in fact it may be completely normal or so minor that medication wouldn't be needed. By taking these concerns to the doctor they'll be told by a professional they do have a problem and that a familiar drug will help it. So without even knowing what the problem is fully, usually with no objective tests, they will be medicated for something they probably don't have.
My answer is: Americans want instant results, quick fixes for their ailments they are to lazy to change their lifestyle to correct. They then watch a well created ad, which may have an answer or even subliminally create the ailment. The patient then pressures doc for the scrip. Without that pressure, docs would prescribe much less of them, and perhaps expect their patient to work toward healthy alternatives.
"Do you feel tired when you go to bed?" HOLY SHIT THAT'S ME, I HAVE THAT! I NEED THAT PILL!

One of the ways Tell-Lie-Vision programing is funded is by its sponsors.
Commercials are very important for them, it is part of the mental programing.
TV = 24/7 brainwashing.

Old way:
First came the disease-- then came a pill to cure it
New way:
First come up with the pill--then makeup a disease to cure it--see how that works--and profitable too.

The more they advertize the less we remember the medicin nature gives; THC, herbs, fruit, algea, marihuana, etc.
