You have to admit that having the spectator do so much of the cups and balls routine was a stroke of genius! I saw him do a more elaborate version of this as part of his act at a Gatlinburg TN magic convention nearly 30 years ago. I am suprised he left out the punchline he uses as he exits with the chicks. Guess he saves that for the live audiences

He didnt switch the ring from the middle to his index finger. What he did was just positioning the middle finger to look like it was the index finger, and the ring finger on the right hand to look like it was the middle finger. He did it really fast, but if you have keen eyes you'll recognize it. (Pause at 3:35). The time the ring jumped to his ring finger, he actually took it off and put it on again, really fast. He has very fast hands, and David was also a plant.

The rope ring trick is obvious, he doesn't thread it through. and the ring finger switch trick is fucking clever. When I saw it the first time, I was like "how the....what the...." but when you watch it again, it's so dirty, you'll feel cheated. I'm so going to show my parents that.
