Down here in Okc the ambs run with lights on for about 2miles running drills or what ever they are called then shut em off. I have had several run past me doing well over 85-90mph and not coding but if you think that you are going to fly by them doin the same then they get on the radio man. Good vid! Drive it like Jehu!!
I have driven that stretch of road hundreds of times. You were REALLY moving...you went all the way from the shuttlecocks to northern Johnson County! You also seemed to have good control of the bike.
I disagree with your comment about the other motorist. Rapid lane changes are just a part of urban driving. She had her blinkers on for about three seconds...enough time for you to react.

i totally agree with u on that ambulance comment in ur video, I was going pretty fast when I saw a ambulance coming up quick so I definitely slowed down, you never know who they can get radio...
well , i work on one and i can tell you that we can get any and all law enforcement agencies on our radios , and if we see reckless riding ,driving it will get out attention but not as near as quick as if we are going emergency traffic and you fail to yield right of way .
HA- didn't seem "right" to pass an ambulance at that speed? Dude, if the ambulance is running code, Very not right. Otherwise, he's headed back to dispatch, you have nothing to worry about.. And the lady who cut you off? Wouldn't let it get under your skin. You used your horn properly, and you knew where she was headed by her signal, even though she did not see you. So.. I guess I hope you signal your lane changes on the freeway! peace:) I ride an '07 ZZR myself.
When are you gonna replace that stock muffler. It's wayyyyyy too quiet! When you're on a bike, you want people to HEAR you coming. Like that lady who who cut you off from the left lane...sorry man. I highly recommend the Yoshimura RS3 or Viper. D & D exhausts are pretty loud too. You'll love that sound from the first time you fire it up...trust me!
i ride a zx-6r but my buddies got one of these n their real comfortable n fast

Did you trade in your Ninja 250R? I love mine but thinking of trading up as well. I'd miss that 65-70mpg, though.

Nope, I still have it. A buddy of mine rides it with me. I thought about selling it, but it's worth having a built-in riding partner! :)

He wasn't running code, just cruising at highway speed. And I ALWAYS signal. Now if I could just ALWAYS remember to turn it off! :P
