Why is EVERY Hunger Games song/cover so depressing? Like why can't there be some drums or electric guitar. Even if the song is about death or love or whatever, it can still be upbeat. There's no rule against it.
This is one of the few books that I never want to see made into a movie, because like they did with several of my favorite books, it will ruin the way I read the book, the way I visualize everything, how I see the characters, and how the sound. I will not watch the movie, for that reason and that reason only.

Argue if you must, but I always thought that if Cinna was younger ( I'm assuming he's older, it never said how old he is.) him and Katniss would make a great couple. Argue as much as you want. But, if I must pick from the existing teams, I'd say Peeta. He's closer to Katniss's age and he's saved her life multiple times. Gale just hunts with her. Plus, I feel that Peeta has a deeper love for Katniss than Gale.

To be totally honest I wasn't too thrilled when I read this last book in the series. :( I noticed Zuzanne wasn't going for a 100% happy ending when Finnkick dies, it all goes downhill from there. The very source of the story (Katniss volunteering to take Prim's place in the games) goes down the drain. Awesome series in general but Mockingjay is my least favorite book.

@mus1cify Exactly. President Snow wasn't lying when he said he wasn't lying to her, and he really had no reason to kill the children. If he could have used that hovercraft to escape, he would have. Prim was just collateral damage from coin sending in what looked like a Capitol hovercraft to turn even the Capitol citizens against Snow. Coin was power hungry, and by her asking the victors to okay another Hunger Games, she showed she would be another Snow.

@meemaification Well, I've always been Team Peeta since book one but I notice a lot of people in that situation usually go for Peeta as well after reading Mockingjay.
@meemaification Peeta is the book's best character. While, Gale is more like a more certain, more violent version of Katniss, she realizes as the reader should, I think, that the best option for her is the great man, the peaceful man. Katniss has lived such a violent life already. They both have. Settling down and living a peaceful life together is possible with Peeta. Not with Gale.

@Goldenstar3000 Gale would be the best for pre-hunger games Katniss. She changed dramatically throughout the course of the books. At the end, she really is best off with Peeta, who is a calm man ready to live a peaceful life after all that violence. Hot headed Gale is not a good match for devastated, post traumatic stress disorder ridden Katniss.

@meemaification Well, I've always been Team Peeta since book one but I notice a lot of people in that situation usually go for Peeta as well after reading Mockingjay.

@meemaification Peeta is the book's best character. While, Gale is more like a more certain, more violent version of Katniss, she realizes as the reader should, I think, that the best option for her is the great man, the peaceful man. Katniss has lived such a violent life already. They both have. Settling down and living a peaceful life together is possible with Peeta. Not with Gale.

@Goldenstar3000 Gale would be the best for pre-hunger games Katniss. She changed dramatically throughout the course of the books. At the end, she really is best off with Peeta, who is a calm man ready to live a peaceful life after all that violence. Hot headed Gale is not a good match for devastated, post traumatic stress disorder ridden Katniss.

Aaaw, Peeta's such a cuutie! I mean, at first I was all Gale, but when he did the unthinkable (in my eyes), I realised that sometimes calm and reliable is better than hot headed bad boy. Loved the song and pictures! :D
