He reportedly saw Diane Keaton's name somewhere, and decided to change his surname to hers. That's the facts. Why are we resorting to childish name calling and stupid comebacks?

This guy's a mad man in his movies, look at him he's insane which is what makes him Batman, you know if Strange was ever mentioned in the Burton movies and we had the storyline of finding out his identity it be a win for Burton's goth darkness, and Scarecrow as well maybe, and we could have the cold hearted serious tone of Freeze not the punny one from B&R

funny thing is I still believe Arnold would have probably ended up portraying it as he could have played it seriously had he actually been directed to do so. Under Burton I think it would have happened. He still would also have had several of the more "serious" one liners.

Johnny Depp probably would have portrayed Burton's version of the Riddler... but Carrey would have been his second choice.

Two-Face well is obviously Lando... playing it more like a Phatom of the Opera riff.

Not just Mr. Mom. Before Batman Keaton mostly stared comedy movies from Mr. Mom to Night shift. I guess Mr. Mom was the most recent movie he played before 1988-9 and then Beetle Juice. Comic book fans screamed in horror cause they thought casting a comedic actor means a campy Batman again while they didn't realize the point that Tim Burton saw the mystery quality of the actor.

For all you people debating on this,Keaton & Bale BOTH make a great Batman. What sets them apart is that:1)Keaton's is based on  the comic 2)Bale's is supposed to be more realistic
