Ok, I KNOW that my comments are gonna be thumbed-down and I'm gonna get a bunch of hate-replies, but I don't care; I want to express my opinion: I was disappointed with this special.I feel like it was alot of recycled jokes. About her mom (whom I DO love), and about a bunch of other "same-old" stuff. And, plus I'm a bit tired out with the Cher thing...I'm gay, I LIKE Cher, but I don't worship her, and I DO get the joke, and I realize Kathy doesn't believe the gay stereotype, but
@ammarios it's just..oh, I can't really explain it. I've seen MUCH MUCH better from Kathy.
However, I don't think this was because "she's not funny anymore", but I feel like she's just gotten a TAD bit lazy with her material. There WERE a few HILARIOUS new jokes, but they were a bit far and in between. Her LAST special was MUCH funnier (with the political stuff), and I just miss the "bitchy fuck-you" attitude of Kathy Griffin from the "Allegedly" days. Despite all this, I STILL worship Kathy lol
@ammarios And to me, the fact that, DESPITE this critique (which I KNOW is going to get me ALOT OF hate-mail..etc),I STILL happen to ADORE Kathy is proof of just what an awesome comedienne she is.She has DEFINITELY accomplished leaving her mark on the world by producing a HUGE cult-following. & I also realize that she's human and you can't expect, unreasonably, to like EVERYTHING all the time. Maybe others LOVED this. I would still rather watch her interviews than this special. I LOVE YOU KATHY.

Not as strong as her other specials but still enjoyable. Maybe 3 specials in a row were a bit too much, which I super understand, btw.
