im having a hard time. i cant get itunes to install on my computer. but the phone has been activated and synced since it was used when i got it. iphone 3gversion is 4.0.2. Anyway, i got redsnow part done fine. i downloaded the firmware frome several different links and everytime i click browse on redsnow and then click the firmware, it says it doesnt recognize the firmware. is it because i dont have itunes?? i dont understand. sorry if i sound dumb. i have no idea what im doing!!!

I was able to jailbreak my 3g to a firmware version 4.2.1 but when it was all done my phone had no service. It shows only 1 bar but it still says call failed when i try to call some one. I've used the other cell phones and Iphones here before so I know its not my area. Has anyone had this problem?
