The same EXACT thing happened to me. At first, I just lightly braked, and my bike flipped like that as though I've hit something invisible. Landed on my hands, bleeding on both of my palms as I try to protect my face and body. Got on the bike again, tried to cycle again, and again, gently touch my brakes, fell again but landed on my face this time. Went to the hospital for stitches between my eyes and below my nose. Thank God my nose didn't break. Some sort of freak accident....
