I know what I like and that's all that matters to me. What was distinctive about Lauren Alaina? Nothing much, but the southern demographic power votes like mad for their country favorites on this show. Most of the AI winners have been from the south. Many of the voters are very young and may not have very sophisticated taste in music.

I don't even why Pia has a record deal, she is just a typical contest singer. Nobody is impressed by anything she does. People were impressed she went out early and I don't even know why was that even an upset. 9th place, never gonna take her seriously...

I love Haley --- her response to the teleprompter messing her lines up was classic!! She's such a goofball!....and completely adorable.
All three of these girls sounded great together - I noticed Pia and Haley on prior group performances sounded good together.....would have liked to hear a bit more from Thea on this...she has a great voice as well.

Pia and Lauren should've been the final two. My favorite two songs for them were River Deep Mountain High for Pia, and The Climb for Lauren! Go Pia!!!

American Country Idol Hillbilly,, dumb ignorant americans dont know talent when they hear it.. these girls have it, why do they have so many country song writers in nashville? Because all those so called country stars cant write hit songs.. In the good old days and even now there are many bands that do all of there own writing and performing and are great singer vocalists.. the country bumpkins on Idol and In nashville would be nothing without there staff writers employed by music row.

These 3 (IMO) had the best female vocals this season. It's sad we didn't see Thia perform more and grow, Pia well we know what happened there and Haley just fell short of the finale..
