Yugoslavia was a very highly developed country with a fair balance of ethnic power. It was not Lebanon; it was not Rwanda. And despite my sympathy for the Chechens in the Caucasus, it makes somewhat more sense that conflict-with it history of Russian imperialism-would be so violent. What happened in Yugoslavia is still hard to believe. It was an entirely unnatural event.
Even IF this video is strongly pro-Serb, it still presents important, frequently neglected info. Everything that caused this tragedy to happen are very plain facts, among the most fundamental:
-Yugoslavia was impoverished with a very weak currency by the late '80s; Slovenia and Croatia had a comparatively huge portion of foreign currency income.
-Izetbegovic was weak and found a golden opportunity to get power.
-Communism had died & old politicians exploited nationalism for votes
EU AND U.S ARE FOUND OPPORTUNITY TO BENEFIT FROM THIS CONFLICT!AND ACHIVE THEIR GEOPOLITICAL GOAL ON THE BALCAN!THEY FINDED A GUILTY PART IN THIS CONFLICT,AND SERBS WAS IDEAL FOR THAT ROLE!!!EVEN THEY(SERBS)LOSTED IN W.W.I. 52% OF THEIR MALE POPULATION,TO CREATE YUGOSLAVIA!AND WHAT IS THE LOGIC TO ACCUSE SERBS FOR BREAKING OF YU?WESTERN PEOPLE WERE BRAINWASHED WITH THEIR MEDIA!NOW IS TOO LATE TO CORRECT ALL INJUSTICE TOWARD SERBS,THAT'S THE REASON WHY WESTERN MEDIA TRYING TO APPEAR AS OBJECTIVE

Yes the war could have been avoided if the military occupators of the entire country had any considerations towards Non-Serb nations. Instead the Serbs tottally dominated the army, the police and all positions of influence treating other nationalities like slaves. So the people had to fight for their freedom. Think about it: What right one nationality has to tell the others: "You have no right for your independence". Did anyone tell Serbs you cannot have your independence?
you cant ask someone from england for a neutral opinion . they were on serbian side during the was just as germans were on croatian side . that old bat is english .

I guess all of the people interviewed must be on that fat Serbian payroll. It's amazing that the Serbs were so powerful and influential, that they could actually bring a member of the US foreign affairs desk to re-sign his post just so he could film this propaganda piece.
