I have seen this concert live and the quality of the sound here and in television is really far different inside PICC. So for those who says their performance is weak, better watch a live concert. But still, you guys are entitled in your own opinion, just don't over do it, OK? if we don't like what we see and hear, it is always an option to log-out or close the window :) peace guys.

Maybe the poster picked a bad part of the song to post but that duet sounds kind of crappy. The band is too loud. Legrand sounds like he's got one foot on the grave--weak and off key. Regine's voice is powerful but thats about the only thing it has going for it since her delivery is melodramatic and all wrong for this song. Not to fault her singing skill, I just think she took the wrong approach to this song. It sounds awful.

As much as I love this song and both of these singers, I have to agree with Efriedlander that this particular version was pretty weak. I would suspect that the two didn't practice very much before hand, because they can't seem to both be singing in sync. Once again, no insult intended, I just don't believe it was one of their better performances.

I think regine can sing this song better than what is shown if she is given a chance to sing it in her very own style. It seems that legrand had boxed the song to the original and of course regine's voice is not fit to ts original arrangement. Also, you have to listen to regine singing an entire song, bec her style can not be appriciated just by listening to a segment of a song.
