Could someone tell me if the potential kinetic energy of the top 15 floors of the WTC was a sufficient amount to turn all the concrete to dust, and turn the whole pile into nothing but rubble?
How would you figure out how much KE would be needed to pulverize the concrete and pretty much everything else?
These equations are all good and stuff but the real questions is how far off are we from converting those equations into a working gravitational engine...that is the real question and trumps any question that has and will be asked
Hey can someone please help me with this question???
"Calculate the minimum Energy required to projecta spacecraft of mass (2 x 10 thpo 6 KG) from the surface of the earth so that it escapes Completely from the eaths gravitational field. *Student should take into account the Radius of the earth (6.4 x 10 thpo 6m), the mass of the earth (6 X 10 thpo 24 KG), including the Gravitational constant G.
Just wanted to point out, that In the beginning of the video you had Ep = mgh = w*h it should just be w (work). mg doesn't equal work, it equals force :)

@YetziroVenni 1st convert ft to meters
Ep=mgh
Ep=1000 (9.8) (meters) sin40 J

The answer should finish at (1.26 x 10 thpo 14 J)
Help would be very much appreciated. :D

Actually, he represented w as weight not work. W=mg

@narutolynx Work is also any type of energy, so it can be A=W :)
