Very nice, but in mine opinion it would be better if you make trees move more naturally or even made them static. This way unnatural motion of trees makes this look a bit worse then it should.
Otherwise, I love everything else; lighting, camera movement, details, textures and other stuff.... even trees... when they don't move...
watch out for tree movement. There is no water and the water is still yet the trees are moving like they are in a storm. Fix them up and the rest is awesome.
Absolutely beautiful. About time someone on youtube used Vue to it's full potential. I can't seem to find my answer on the comments, but what Resolution and what Render Quality did you save this as?
@6Picu You can get the Personal Learning Edition for free :). Its the full Vue although limited render resolution and minus all preloaded objects and a few plants. Search Vue 8.5 ple in google. I cant post a link because bitchy ass youtube wont let me.
You did this all with Vue? What I mean is- can you put in all the trees, wind movement, camera( the viewpoint) movement, the river, all in Vue with no other program? also, Is there Vue software for mac? I'm considering getting Vue, but I want to know what I'm buying.

How are you able to use vue to create wonderful animations like this,im using a intel cor 2 quad 2.6 ghz and 8gb ram and i find it very hard to render anything without it taking forever.
Also the display gets very slow even in a small scene,Any ideas?
I have ontly an Intel i7 930 quad cores and 6 gb ram. You can see my videos Vue creations in High Definition. Just click on my name: lhommeenbleu.
It is sure that it takes times to render good video from Vue animation. For my animations, it takes between 6 hours and 12 hours for 30 secondes of animation in good quality.
the most weired thing that on windows vista it runs more than great but on the 7 and xp it dosent :) btw my vista is 35bt :( and it runs there great and its the same reg
hey mate i got a similer reg of ur pc and an xp os but 32 bit
and iam having problem with vue its interface lags and the render is so so so slow and i have a high end gaming pc i dont know why even i got a laptop can run it fasterbut the diff that the laptop is windows vista
@kakokakobo How many CPUs do you have? probably its a problem with your registration. if you haven´t done it, it only renders with 1cpu, you can check in the lower right corner, how many cpus are used.
How do you render this animation? With a renderfarm o a your computer? I ask you this because i'm do rendering a animation with Vue 6 Extream but the time of rendering is more slow.. Help me please!! Thank you ;D
assuming any gaming engine could handle the polygon count!!! this is what....well over 5 billion polygons..like 30 or something?? yeah this is only possible to render on those tesla supercomputers, you know the machines designed for this stuff
I love Vue, but the MAJOR drawback is render times... 2 weeks for 1:22 is atrocious render time for that length of animation on a high-end PC. Anyways, great job on this stefan -- well done! My ONLY critique is that it's rather monochromatic,
im working on vue.. you know something.. i lost a render animation at the 72% because have an error in my computer XD! i lost like 132 hours rendering.. :/
Would you think about selling it? I am trying now to bring High end terrains from Vue 7 into a game engine to do real time work instead of renderings . For doing animated shorts . I love the look of yours and it would be a wonderful trial for me to work with to test the limits of my project.
