Mr. Rupert "Stretch" Armstrong Falcon III was a network censor responsible for editing the dialogue of popular films when broadcast on television, in order to make them safer for children. Falcon was hired by the networks to edit out the offending language and replace it with alternate dialogue. He was remarkable for his ability to substitute an obscenity with a word that was offensive to nobody and always made absolutely perfect sense, and to imitate the voice of any actor.

Just saw parts of this movie the other day on TBS. Wasn't the radio code name for one of the guys "Falcon"? Even so this is still a pretty long stretch.

If you want to see some more equally or perhaps even more rediculous tv sensoring? Look up the movie 'Casino" TV edits. the desert scene is falcon classic!

@Slotten68 Yes. General Esperanza's code name was "Falcon." So, being that he was the one steering the plane to freedom, the "Mr. Falcon" overdub has a certain logic to it. It's still pretty hilarious, though.
